Hi Lovely Preggy Ladies

Meags, those pics are too lovely! You look totally gorgeous and your dh looks smitten!

Am working through Christmas but we did manage to get away for the last 5 days with the family to a lovely vakansie oord type place in magaliesburg - valley lodge. Lovely spa, massive pool, divine food soooo relaxing! Looking forward to when we go again next year and I can participate in the tennis and other activities!!

Still feeling fine - no realy discomfort, still sleeping great, only complaint is MANY toilet visits, bladder severely compromised or whatever the word is. William also very active it's too sweet. My dh started talking to him the other morning and he gave a big kick! Of course dh thought that it was TOTALLY in repsonse to his voice!

Am just DYING to go to my scan wtih Maryke next Tuesday (although trying not to wish the days away and enjoy each of these last precious days) and then the following Thursday (6 Jan) is d-day with my gynae when he will make the final decision re the c section and the precise date and time that I'll give birth if that's the option we go. So, am on tenterhooks has so many implications for maternity leave, preparation, after birth arrangements, etc etc etc

Imagine when we are all here showing off our new babies who have as yet to be born! It's totally miraculous!!!

Thanks God for the cool rainy weather in Joburg. So unfit I swam 2 lengths of the 50 m pool and nearly died!

Have not bought much at all yet (some clothes and receiving blankets) and when I look at the list Kimika kindly sent me ek voel vlou!

AFM: I am really sick (Respiratory Tract infection) and this heat really does not help with my temperature so laying low for a while.

hi ladies

I finally watched my "in the womb" DVD i bought at the beginning of the pregnancy! It's not the national geographic one...it's the johnsons and johnsons one but still interesting. Not sure about you ladies, but my little Matthieu seems less active over the last 2-3 weeks?? not sure if he's growing or what...on the DVD they said from 26 weeks the baby is sleeping 90% of the time. I'm a bit sad as I love having him give me hard kicks and now it's more solid movements than kicking.

I wonder what happened to all the other ladies who use to chat often like Areej and Driekie? I know Meemo said she was off Moomie for so long she felt awkward coming back on...although I told her she shouldnt feel awkward!
And has Cath gone off on holiday??
I see on FB Joli had a scan and all is well - baby still in breech position. Wonder how much her Baby B weighs now since he/she was so big last time!

Emsmom, gee it really was hot in CT yesterday!! To top it all our office aircon wasn't working all day and we can't open any windows in this building, so I was literally boiling all day!! I got home feeling all irritated and just got straight into the pool! Today I'm wearing jean shorts - I NEVER wear shorts to work, but I'm SO not sitting here sweating in long pants again all day!

DH was very sweet and put our mobile aircon up on blocks lat night so that it can cool our room better. It definitely helped, but having 2 sausage dogs on the bed all night (one very big fat one) was less of a good idea. But they're our babies, so it is hard to tell them to get off the bed.

Thanks for the reminder of Storm in a G cup - I am also looking for a preggy bikini/tankini since a one piece just isn't working for me at the moment and I haven't managed to find a nice one anywhere. Have also been thinking of finding some decent bras - even if it is just one or 2, since I'm getting tired of my Carriwell maternity bras which make me look so shapeless. Think I will take a drive there over lunchtime.
