hi ladies

well - this was really just a bad day in total!!

I spoke to the agents and the girl who was interested in my flat has offered R30 000 below asking price, wants to pay a very low occupational rent and has a million clauses she has added to the contract (one being that if a special levy is made after the purchase date, she will not be liable for it!!! what the hell?? if she buys the place - she is liable!!!)
so ya - that is not looking like it's going to work out at all.

the second people that were interested that came last night - heard nothing back from them and they know i leave for overseas tomorrow.

i am so fed up and i just dont know what to do with this property now.

we then went to my dad's christmas lunch where my step mother had nothing nice to say as usual. the first thing she said was "meags, I was looking, and your boobs have not grown at all" - it was like she was trying to say i am not going to have enough milk for the baby or that this makes me a bad mother that my boobs have not sprung out...
everyone wanted to feel matthieu moving and they did - she did not ask once to feel.
when we left, she just gave me the briefest hug and said 'bye". no "have a nice holiday, have a nice christmas" nothing.
she also said nothing to DH and she isnt going to see him until October next year!!!! so he shouted to her "see you in America" and she just said "ya see you there"
SERIOUSLY??? she is such a b*tch.

ok that's my complaining. oh yes...last one...DH has been drinking all afternoon at the christmas function and made me stop to but more beer on the way home...Aarrrggg. great company he's gonna be tonight. and i still feel quite sick :(

ok now i'm really done :p

schatsie - it is such a personal choice to make. how long for the amnio results? Whatever choice you make, we are here for you and will support you no matter what xx

cath - if it must be a c-section, so be it. everything happens for a reason. maybe a natural birth would have ultimately landed up a c-section for you anyway!

EmsMom - I am SO looking forward to getting to the snow and away from the heat!!!!!!

Lucy - take it easy.

Joli - pls post a pic of your tummy!! been dying to see the growth as your 18 week one was so amazing!

claire - welcome! I think you do belong here. when i saw your ticker on the other thread - you are just way too ahead of them!!!

Thanks man! :) I know just my luck a discount!:)
Listen, I can so relate re service providers just generally being 'slapgat'! It's soo annoying! Although I must say fixing the wrong tooth takes the cake!!! Jeez, whatever next!! Hope the pain goes away soon!!!!
Anyone got any ideas re preggy safe sinus stuff, my sinuses are sooo painful many days.
Also - anyone getting one of those companys to assist with UIF? I think Girly had quite a good epxerience with one of them, I must ask her which. Another one which seems on the ball is momsuifassit. May be Girly's one?
Anyway I'm off home, it's BOILING here!

Hi ladies.

Schatsie - I'm so sorry for what you going through. Are you in CT or JHB? Let us know, then one of us can meet up with you for coffee and a chat. I can't imagine what you must be feeling. Keep us posted. Have you booked the amnio?

Welcome Claire :-)

Cathm - I'm Aquarius :-). You boy looks too cute, but hey it's not fair that you gonna get discount! My gynae said that he is certain that I would walk till the last week..........and I'm already uncomfortable man.

AFM - I'm feeling so huge all of a sudden - but everyone else is telling me I'm looking good, so I shouldn't complain too much. And I'm soooooo lazy at work - I'm really struggling to get any work done - I think I can just lie down the whole day feeling Baby B's kicks! Girls, I'm so upset with the bleddie dentist - I went there last week and he def fixed the wrong tooth! I'm in pain and I don't have another R700 to go back. I need to try and fight with Discovery to pay back some of the pregnancy related money into my savings that's supposed to be from PMB, but I don't think I'm gonna get it right this year still.

Promise to post some of the babyshower pics as soon as I get it - SIL's boyfriend took them, but didn't give them to me as yet. And when he does I will first have to convert them from RAW to JPEG and right now I just don't have the time. Still got a whole wedding shoot to edit as well. Sjoe so much to do before we go on holiday.

Hi Emsmom
There are few things that make it not so straightforward. a) it's very 'fibrous' and b) it's almost covering entire cervix. He said he will be confident about making the decision at 32 weeks and I trust he'll make the right one. He does not think it's going to move (up until he saw it he was saying no man often it moves!) but then he saw it and was like mmm, am not going to lie to you! So am going to wait til 4th Jan and go with what he says. Everything happens for a reason and the upside IS of course the certainty about date, etc! :)

Lord, I know wht you mean about the heat! Yesterday I was SO HOT I seriously almost expired! It was horrendous!! Even the aircon in the office is having no effect! Oh well, I suppose it IS December, what can one expect!

Schatsie honey I cant imagine what you are going through. Did the Dr say how long after amnio you would get the results? You're in CT right? Maybe we can meet for coffee?

Claire welcome to our group! Lovely having you here!

Cath, how long would the Dr give your placenta to move? Mine only moved after 27 weeks and my moms after 36 weeks. If he does book you for a c-section perhaps request a scan the day before to double check it has not moved?

Today has been far too hot, have only survived by hiding in my room. Need to actually get myself a costume that fits so I can go swimming...

I'm seriously craving watermellon, eating SO much of it. At least its a cheap healthy craving :)
