oh I had the cat dream a few of you have said you had!

I gave birth to a kitten (hehe) and when people asked if the birth was painful, I said "No. perhaps if it had been human it would have been sore, but because it was a small kitten, it was actually fine!" Hahahahahah
And DH and I were not disturbed at all about the fact that our baby was a kitten and I was breastfeeding him and everything!

I also hope life can just calm down a bit once we move. Everything is exhausting me!

We have our antenatal classes tomorrow and then our farewell party tomorrow night.

Kimika I just had the scan done at the expo...dunno the lady's name though.

That is awful beyond speech you poor thing! Deleting it! I mean really!!!! I would've also been crying having to deal with that! Speaknig of which have been feeling rather moody and irritable I just seem to be surrounded by INCOMPETENT people. I.e. my gynae's useless receptionists keep on a) changing my appointments and b) giving me excuses regarding PRECISELY what his costs are - surely this is a normal question when we know that many gynaes charge over and above medical aid rates?! Grr!
Have a lovely wkend everyone, I plan to sleep ALOT! Excited to see little William at Maryke tomorrow though!
Hoping my placenta has shifted, God imagine after all of this having to have a c-section

Ok so my update

Nope SARS is done .. Weve been away since Wed. Yesterday was our 4yr anniversary

I had SUCH a bad day Wednesday.. grrrrr!!! Vodacom made a total mess with our cellphone account, I was late with paying it by 5 days and instead of suspending it they DELETED!!!! the account!!

I sat there from 13:00 in the afternoon and only got home just before 18:00!! I was sitting there in Vodaworld at the consultats desk crying (preggie hormones) because I had so much to do before we had to leave and was so upset that they could just do that!! But eventually its all sorted out and I got my account back. Dammit!

But we had a wonderful relaxing day yesterday and now Im back home and happy. Tomorrow we have hubby's year end function and Sunday baby expo yippee!!!

Lucy, the pigeon ones are great although not the thinnest.. but I love them and will be using them this time around too. The Dischem ones are ewwwwwy crap.. dont even go there

Joli, wow those scan photies are sooo cute!! Cant believe you got all those feet, hands and face into one shot.. little gymnast there I think I also need to book a maternity shoot with you in Jan. Will email you!!!! As for the nipple shields.. I agree on how hectic breastfeeding can be those first few weeks. I also used them a while but it was still sore through them. I think they might even sometimes make things worse. Ive decided that this time around Im going to visit a lactation consultant before baby is born so I know exactly what feeding routine I should try etc etc. Then also want her to visit me in hospital and thereafter. I dont want that pain for 3months again!!

I used the pigeon shield.. but it seems bulky.. dont know how the others are. But it worked perfectly. Also (for Cath) I used the pigeon manaul breastpump. Worked fine but this time around I want to buy the Medela mini electric. I think Medela pumps are prob best to buy. They say the Swing is bestest. Also I got a email a while ago from Medela that showed their newest *HANDSFREE* pump.. havent seen it in shops but Im sure its great

Anje, I think your timing with the 4d is perfect! From 28wks onward they get so big you can almost only get bits of body parts in. How is your neighbour doing?? REally.. you will have so much peace and quiete if you dont stay there anymore!!!

Jess, Im going on Sunday but Im taking hubby and I want the maximum amount of time to spend shopping before his energy levels run out You know how men are at expo's.. they have very little energy after the 1st hour. We can always arrange a coffee meet some other time xxx
