back from the expo. slightly disappointed with the scan - I was hoping for clearer pictures but always nice to see baby anyway!! He weighs about 550g now (yippee!) and I got a couple of pics I'll share
I also bought 3 months supply of my vitamins as they were R90 cheaper than what I usually pay. Then I got the breast cooling gel pads for R100. they aren't carriwell but are exactly the same so thought that was a bargain. And I got 2 bra's (HOORAY! my bra's are killing me lately). so it was worth going

Karin thanks for your honesty regarding my DH! sometimes I think I'm over reacting and wonder if I expec too much? but hearing you say I deserve to be treated better makes me realise he really can be an ass sometimes! now that his work year is over - I am expecting drastic improvements from him and more focus on me!

Lucy - as everyone said - your legs will go numb or get pins and needles once the uterus is too heavy for you to lie on your back. I cant sleep on my side as my ribs burn so much so I sleep on my back.

karin - thats so nice that you feeling your baba alot. Mine is also very very active! Especially after just eating my chocolate! It loves choc.

oh Lucy, your body will tell you when it's too late to sleep on your back.

KarinM is right, the weight of your uterus starts to get too much for the blood vessels to carry oxygen efficiently when you sleep on your back but your body will let you know when that is because you'll get dizzy and breathless. I now can barely even lay on my back if I'm propped up because i struggle to breathe so i have to lay on my side propped up with pillows under the belly and head and shoulders, my goodness my bed looks like a pillow factory and DH's side is empty but not long and i can lay flat again!

Rakker!! Another little girl!! That is sooo cool.
You know... I'm sure it's a girl thing... cause both my daughters did that to me... lie with their legs closed and very shy to show the tools, while on the onther hand the boys flaunt it early on!
