Wow Meags, yeah if you have to get up that much to walk around and keep blood circulation proper then it might just be a waste for the more expensive tickets... although, I guess your hubby won't think so, at least he'll be able to sleep. And, there is more leg room and comfier seats for you to relax in every hour at least! So actually... I'll say keep the business class tickets.

Karin they can check for diabetes at any stage during pregnancy. And Lucy has mentioned the symptoms Go for a finger prick test at clicks or dis chem. If it is high, you will then do the proper fasting test at the lab

Tazzy I did mention the BH and she said it's normal and that it's combined with back ache when his back lies against my back.

There is a lot of preparation I have to do for these long haul flights over December and January. I have to go have proper pressure stockings measured etc, take quarter Asprin 2 days before and have to get up and walk every hour...which then makes me wonder if it's a waste to fly business class since I wont get to sleep anyway?

Karin, it might just be a bit of low blood sugar.. make sure you eat small healthy snacks / meals atleast every 2hrs to keep it going.. with all that volume of blood you can easily get low bp too and that would def make you feel faint and tired. I think they can do gestational diabetes test somewhere from about 24wks or so? Ask your gynae or gp if you really are worried!

Ok so today I goooottaaa go buy the duvet cover and pillow cover for my sons bedding. Ill go do the rest of the suede for the animals tomorrow when my mom can go along.. Ive been put off since my last visit to the fabric store but I really need to start on sowing those animals!! e ekkkk!!

Karin - the symptoms are similar to preg symptoms, frequent urination, thirst, over time weight changes, dizziness, blurred vision. Go have a finger prick test at a pharmacy to put your mind at ease.
