Rakker, please let me know if you will attend the meet, not sure if Vix will keep checking here. But Ill pass on the news sofar.. yes its kiddie free unless you really cant otherwise :) I just know with my son I might aswell stay home because he loooves to run allover at this age! So daddy will be babysitting ;)

Schatsie, Just shop around a bit, you will find something!! Rather do it now because the longer you wait the bigger everything will get! :woohoo: Goodluck!

Meags, shame your mom is so considerate :) yes maybe go for the golden middleway and tell her to stay about 20 days. I know it might sound so short to her now, but she is gonna cry anyway when she leaves you and baby at the end of her visit. And I think the longer she stays the more she would get attached to the baby too and make it so much harder to leave you guys again!

Anje, ooo thats a cute little bump you got there!! That front shot is perfect :) hey and I can already see your line showing up :) hehe

Mistymom, uhhhmm... ok the truth about the matter is that I can BARELY sow on a button!! But my mom and sister are experts so Im going to rely on their input! And really its going to be like sticking the different parts of animals together with fabric, instead of glue you just sow around the edges.. cant be that hard.. *gulp* LOL .. we will see how it turns out! hehe

Great belly shot :) Your bump is starting off really nice and round :) And you still have a belly button!!! *jealous*

:woohoo: :woohoo: that article on the pooping is sooo perferct!! Its like the wording of how we all actually feel! To be honest, it was along with tearing (which I did anyway), it was my other biggest fear! Not even a bulky epidural needle scared me so much. But in all the activity I completely forgot and nobody ever said anything.. so Ill never know  Hubby was at my side so prob never saw if there was anything or not. Im not asking.. But like they said, if your are pushing correctly then the chances are good for some choc candy ;) Dont think about it, nobody will say anything, and they see it all the time (well I flippien hope so) meags, I think this is where you deliver your honest opinion!

Snack ideas.. ok maybe everyone can give suggestions as I dont have much of them lately.. been eating wayy to much junk myself. But provitas with a bit of cheese or creamcheese is great, or just bovril. Fruit or fresh veggies are fab (cherry tomatoes, cucumber sticks, carrots etc) Oh and then ofcourse I have a great recipe for low gi branmuffins. They are quite yummy... and you can freeze them. Yoghurt!! :) think think.. maybe some slices of coldmeats? Ok Im all out of ideas.. anyone else? :P

And on the wine.. you have a year to go ;) But its actually the same as when preggie, if you really want it so bad, just have a small glass diluted with lotsa ice or even some sodawater/appletizer.

Meags - so nice to see you helping out simone...wow wished you lived in CT!! Was looking at suntan lotion today...cant beleive how expensive it is! It should be tax free!!! And the baby ones are even more expensive...anouther thing to add tothe list that my sister needs to bring in March next year from overseas..we have a good system. She pays £150 for her hair highlites...so when she is here i treat her (at half that price) and she brings all the goodies fo me which are expensive here!

Oh yes...when I was at the hairdresser today she was telling me that J &J no tears shampoo is actually not that good as it dries out the hair ?? And that Paul Mitchelle baby shampoo is the best to use?? see its about R200 here but about R60 overseas? Any body by any chance used it??

Anje - What a lovely belly, you are carrying so nicely. How are you feeling?

Misty - I have been snacking on dried mango (from woolies) yoghurt rice cakes, apple rings, occasional very dry biltong sticks from woolies too, raisins, slices of gouda cheese, berry smoothie (also woolies!!)
Hope that gives you some ideas? Do you have a general ICD10 code for ante natal care? Apparently this is what is holding everything up with Discovery!!
