hi ladies!

wow what a day. I am feeling so emotional and totally drained.
on a good note, my cats are sorted!! They will go into kennels here on 21 January (the kennels here are about 6 times bigger than in USA...) then the lady there will take them to get their health certificate at the vet and organise all that stuff and liase with the pet transport people and they will fly to me on 30 January. such a relief.

I saw the relationship therapist. I really didnt like her at all. she basically told me to get a divorce and move on and that lots of men find pregnant women sexy so I wont have an issue finding someone to have sex with me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I found her very unsupportive and whenever I mentioned I want to work on things and make it work, I could see she was just thinking it'll be easier for me to leave DH! I couldnt believe it. and my main complaint was that we dont have enough sex. and she thinks thats a good enough reason for divorce

our stuff needs to be packed by Sunday as we need the weight of the trunks and an inventory of everything to send to the transport department on Monday to get a quote to make sure the company pays for everything. i packed 2 of those trunks 7 months ago and cant remember what's in them so now I have to unpack them, make a list of everything and re-pack them.

I wanted to do personals so I'll try!! I am sorry if I forget anybody:

Mistymom - your belly has grown a lot since I saw you! It's nice and round :) and about the poop - here goes the honest truth.
90% of mom's poop! and when they don't, we get annoyed because then we know they are not pushing properly! In fact, we tell them to push like they are constipated on the toilet. We place a pad over the anus so that the poop is not visible and will not be in contact with the baby when it's born. If there is a lot of poop, we will simply remove it, re-clean the area and continue with the delivery. on the odd occassion, you do get a really smelly one (sorry TMI!!) and yes that can be a little icky...but we are so focused on that baby's head coming down that you dont even notice the poop really!

Jessica - I agree about wanting time alone with DH and the baby. initially when my mom said 4 weeks I was thinking 'woah that's long!' I think 3 weeks would be nice...although I do expect her to also give us our space when DH comes home in the evenings. She will have ALL day with me and baby and it will be nice to just be our new family for an hour or so in the evenings.

Kaylae - sorry about the flu. Try get some rest this weekend and drink lots of water!

Kimika - I think tell your brother straight now. Just say "Oh I really hope baby doesnt come the week of your wedding or we wont be able to come!!" kind of make it a light hearted comment for now - but at least he knows in advance...

Anje - It still amazes me how from the side, one doesnt really look very pregnant. but those front views really show it!!!

EmsMom - glad you got the day to recover. those days are important and I think I will need one after this crazy weekend of packing, plus the moomie meet tomorrow and we have a party to attend tomorrow night and i dont know if the house is on show on sunday or not!!! AAAAAHHHHHH

So glad Anina finally had her little angel :) What a journey!

Emsmom, true, sometimes we just need a break from the whole routine and take a day to ourselves. Retail therapy I have to agree is best medicine ;)

Schatsie, dont worry, by week 22 your waist will have dissapeared :) Then you will just have a gorgous round belly!

Well not much I can do now about the wedding (except hold thumbs that they still get their April date). Will maar just have to see what happens hey!

Yipee I got all my fabric!! So now I can just start and get those animals done! Going straight onto that now so tata!! :)

Misty what a sweet bump!

Kimika congrats on your brother, and dont stress to much, It might be hard, but I know if it comes to it, your brother will understand if you cant make it.

Schatsie, that sounds so funny, only thing I have is a bublle at my c-section scar! so I have a bump, flat and then a bubble - but thankfully it's hidden by my undies :)

I had lots of driving around to do today, so I'm glad to be home. Funny when you're in a rush you get stuck behind every slow retarded idiot on the road!

At the moment Em has just falled asleep on my sholder while I was typing, so she must have been so tired (after a glass of coke lol)

I'm feeling better than I did yesterday, spent most of it crying for no reason at all. But think I needed a day off, I got MIL to fetch Em and watch her till DH could pick her up, and she cooked supper for all of us, so I did nothing yesterday and think I needed it!

Morning gals,

Kimika, congrats on your brother engagement! Don't stress hun, everything will work out just fine, you'll see whatever happens with the wedding, you'll cope and have sooo many people fussing over you and your baba!! ;)

Mistymom, lovely belly pic!
LOL at the poop blog!! That is real funny, thank goodness I don't have to worry about that with the c-section.

Anje, saying again... you're bump is so cute and small and you look absolutely amazing!!

Schatsie, don't worry, you'll see your bump will change drastically in the next few weeks! When I hit 20 weeks, it was like, WOW... where did this come from!

Hello! to everyone else.
Have a fab Friday!

Mistymom, what a lovely bump you have! I'm so jealous, I'm only a week behind you and pretty much the same size, but something strange is going on with my tummy: I actually have TWO bumps! For some strange reason my waist refuses to go, so I have a bump above and below it!!

I know I'll probably miss my waist if it does eventually go, but I just wish I could look pregnant "normally" - i.e. with one bump like everyone else. :)

Anyone else have this problem?

Ok so I just want to have a bit of a EEEEKKKKKKK!!!! moment..

My brother got engaged last Friday. We are EXTREMELY excited for them as theyve been together for 7yrs and we've been expecting this engagment for the last 2yrs! So they say they want to get married very soon.. as in April. So I get a bit of a shock as my baby would be about a month old by the time of the wedding. Which, by the way is in Lydenburg and is a whole weekend due so Ill be stuck with a 4wk old breastfeeding whole day long.. eish. That is not even the problem.. now this morning he says that the April date has been booked by someone else and that the only other date would be early march.. as in maybe the 19th!! So Im freaking out a bit.. Im expecting this little guy will come anywhere between 4 to 10 March but if he is very late it gets soo close to the 19th!!! I dont want to attend the wedding with a baby of a few days old walking like I got stitches in my *you know where* (hoping not to have them but just thinking worse case scenario) So what now?? Im sure hubbyis going to say no way we are going with a baby of about a week old :( I cant tell my brother to change the date just because of me! oohh boo hoo!!! This sucks.

Sorry girls.. Ill pop in again a bit later.. Im just so negative now about it!!

hi ladies

Kimika - pls post the bran muffin recipe - I'm always looking for yummy things to keep in the cake tin! LOL

Misty - The yellow J&J shampoo is the very basic one. I've always liked it and never had a problem with it but you can also try the pink detangling shampoo OR the hair & body shampoo - both REALLY REALLY nice.

I've only used J&J with my son - I'm lucky my FIL works for them so I get all my baby toiletries straight from him!! LOVE IT!!! So, if anyone wants the baby sunscreen give me a shout on my e-mail address & I'll be sure to order extra when I place my next order. Mail me at jessica.richardson@nike.com

Meags - its nice that your mom is going to be there (at least for a bit) when you come home with baby, especially if you needed to go for a c-sec for whatever reason. But TRUST ME when I tell you that as much as you love her eventually you'll want to be with your baby at home without her. So perhaps its better that she comes for 2 weeks or so. She can always come back in a couple of months & if you have a webcam you can chat a lot and keep in touch until she visits again. Remember that your DH also wants time with his wife & new baby son without his MIL being around all the time.
