What does your braxton hicks feel like?? I'm just curious as to know what to look out for?

Joli sorry you had such a sad weekend I really hope you are feeling better. I think these preggy hormones can really mess with one...Because it's normal to have down days, but then the hormones make you feel like your life is over!

EmsMom so sorry about your sister - but it is really such a good thing that they caught it now. By catching it now, she shouldnt have any problems after the surgery.

Kaylae - I still sleep on my bump for as long as I am comfortable!

Hi MommyN! I am dying for DH to come home. The first week was actually fine. The second week was ok to begin with and then just got harder and now I'm on the third week and wondering when it's too soon to start counting the hours that are left????

As for me...
Well I forgot to mention that last week I started having Braxton hicks which worries me as to have them at 18 weeks in a first pregnancy is very early. But I was only have like 1-2 a day and at the most maybe 3. But today I have had about 6-7 already. So I called the gynae and the Sister there said to keep an eye on it and if they become more often or painful, I must go in to be checked. I'm feeling a bit stressed about it Please pray everything is ok with Matthieu and that he says put for atleast another 17 weeks!!

joli - I feel just like you do - except I only manage to shed a tear or 2, thought of getting a really soppy movie and balling my eyes out - maybe it will do me good, but maybe it will just open the water works!!!

kimika - I think you were also low over the weekend? glad the injections went well though, and I am sure the measurements are not too serious!

meags - awesome for the kicks, am sure they will come in full force now, although my little baba doesnt kick hard. but its the most reassuring feeling! it does get less in the ed when space is less, and its something you can never fully describe to someone else. You must be relieved that DH is almost finished his trip. it always feels better the week before he gets home compared to the week he leaves!

AFM-last night i forgot the bump and slept on it(shocked)but immediately felt uncomfortable.shuuu can't wait for my scan counting the minutes

KarinM - so sorry to hear about your scan. But atleast you know everything is fine with baby. Hopefully that on your next scan baby will help that it is a nice scan.

Oh EmsMom ... so sorry about your sister! But luckily it is not terribly bad news, so lucky that they caught it in time, it just shows us again how important it is to go for our yearly check ups. We'll be praying for her and keeping you in our thoughts, may she get strenght and courage from above.

Hey ladies

Well today has been far too emotional for a pregnant women! My sister eventually called us, the news is not good, but not bad. She is in the final stages of pre-cancer. So they have literally caught it just in the nik of time. Anyways, she goes for surgery this week and all should be fine afterwards. She will need to go for check ups every 6 months, but otherwise all should be fine. Just very stressful for all of us, cause its firstly a bit of a shock, we have NO cancer in our family at all. And also because we are not their with her. We are a very close family, and its killing all of us not to be together right now. My folks are going over at the end of the month, but if she asks will be on the plane tomorrow.

Anyways, now I'm cried out and have not been able to focus on anything.
