Feb-May 2011 Mommies

Good morning all!

Hope you had a nice weekend! DH was home from work for a change, so we had a lovely time just being together.

BabyExpo was crazy busy - we ended up standing in the q for 1.5 hours to pay for the Graco pram we picked. (Actually I lie, DH did that for us, while I sat on a nice soft couch waiting for him. He really is such a sweetie - I'm really blessed to have him go through this with me!). We enjoyed the Expo - so many new things we've never been exposed to before. My only complaint was that there were no chairs anywhere between the stalls for pregnant mommies with very sore backs to rest.

We have a gynae visit & scan this week on the 4th - I still have some spotting and cramps many days, so I really just hope everything is still ok! And then we have another scan for anomalies on 6 December.

Emsmom, my sister had an abnormal pap last year and it only required a biopsy and some minor surgery followed by antibiotics and she is perfectly fine now, so I trust your sister will be fine too.

Kimika-hope lil guy wil be wel after the injection.I hate injections especially in cold weathers as they take time to heal.

Meags-Yayness on the hard kicks,don't worry now it is the beginning of many hard kicks and DH will come back home to feeling that.

Emsmom-glad that Em is 110% okay.

AFM-can't wait for my scan not sure if DR wil see the gender as he is not a gynae but will hear tomorrow.hmmmm

Meag, yay for feeling the hard kick! I'm waiting patiently for mine, but will still be a while

Kimika, hope injection day goes ok. I'm such a baby, I still cant watch Em get injections, never could, used to make DH or MIL take her. Even when she was in hospital and had to have bloods and a drip I sent the two of them and stayed away.

Well today is going to be aa good day, I finally managed to haul myself out of bed nice and early to get back into doing my morning exercise! Em is feeling 110% and is back to school today - poor thing been stuck inside the house since Wed.

Although we got some potentially troubleing news, my little sister went for a pap last week and they have phoned her and asked her to come in cause the results are abnormal. So she's on her way now to the Dr. Please pray that all is ok. She is so young, and alone in Aus.

Yippeee Meags for that huge kick How great would it be if hubby could come home and feel his little guy kicking !! Glad your day turned out better... mine is still off... prob going to continue on into this week. Starting off tomorrow morning just after 9 with injection for my angelface little guy Hope he will be ok.. I hate injection days!!!

Then SIX of us have scans the following week!

ooohhh I just had my first kick!!!!!!!!! And I felt it from the outside. I was sitting on the couch with my hand on my stomach and Matthieu gave me about 3 kicks!!
I really hope they stay hard and strong from now on so DH can also feel them. Although knowing my luck, I probably wont get another hard kick for about 2-3 weeks.

Hope everyone has had a good weekend. Mine was so-so. I have to say that I'm quite happy that DH didnt go out last night. He was suppose to go to one of the American girls house parties but ended up being too tired to go out. That put me in a better mood!
