Hello Ladies!

Not doing personals, just saying a quick hello and an update.

Had my 21 week scan on Friday afternoon, it was a bit of a dissapointment... We couldn't see much and didn't get any photo's this time.
Dr. could check the brain, heart, tummy but she kept her face away from us and we couldn't see anything there. So dr. couldn't have a look at the nose, ears, mouth etc. I was so sad cause I really looked forward to this scan... oh well, next time.

Next scan is 26 November @ 15h15.

I had the most terrible week last week. I have never felt so down and out of it in my whole life. I'm feeling much better, but I'm still just tired, but at least I can think straight and I haven't cried since Saturday. I was never one to believe in depression or being so totally out of it, but I honestly can't describe what I went through last week. I just couldn't carry on anymore. I just cried non stop, didn't even cook, I slept and slept and cried and cried and then slept and then woke up and cried some more! Shame my poor husband tried his best, but nothing he said or done could make me feel better. I just felt all alone and ready to give up on life

I have missed a lot! Will catch up on what I can see below. Seem to be very tired today (must be a growth spurt-LOL!)

Kimika - Glad the jab wasn't the worst part!

Meags and Cath - Whoop whoop for the kicks, what a miracle. Such a nice reminder how clever your beautiful bodies are.

Schatsie - DH sounds like a real gentleman! Hope the bleeding stops soon. Seems to be fairly common though, although I am sure that doesn't make you feel any better! Take care

Kaylae - Enjoy tomorrow!

Emsmom - A very good friend of mine had abnormal cells on her pap about 10 years ago. She was told they were like pre cancerous cells. She had a D&C and was good to go. She has since had 2 beautiful children and has never looked back. I am sure your sister will be perfectly fine.
I received my "blue" cherub tree on saturday (oopsie) and it is soooo soft - I love it!

Hope you all have an wonderful weekend. It was my daugters ballet concert this weekend, and that was so beautiful.

Did you all see the sun this morning? There was a rainbow all over the sun. It was so beautiful.

Ok Im back from injection... oooo he is such a little drama monster!! He was crying and kicking when we started to weigh and measure him which escalated so much that he didnt even notice her doing the injection!!?? So he got the shot but Im not sure how accurate his measurements are

Emsmom, ahh I hope your little sis will be ok! My gynae sent me an sms after my papsmear this year that said: your results came back abnormal please contact us. I had SUCH a fright and when I phoned them they said Ive got a infection and need to pick up a script... so lets hope its also something small xxx

Kaylae, enjoy your scan tomorrow.. Ill be holding thumbs that baby shows gender

Yipee its November

Hi All

Work and life madly busy but wanted to check in and say hi

Glad everyone doing well. Meags, I also had a BIG kick (my first one!!!) this morning) William's been very active but no kicks that I could feel on the outside til this morning.

Tomorrow it's 4 months to go for Kimika and I! My dh and I are so excited but also enjoying the last few months of our time 'alone'/as a unit of 2!

Hugely looking forward to next scan (8th November with Maryke)

Had a divine weekend and yesterday went to Villa D'Este in Saxonworld (near Genesis in JHB) and had the best preggie massage and otehr lovely beauty things and my dh and my mom came with too then we had a breakfast in their beautiful gardens. Bliss! They do the BEST massages, I had not had a preggie one before - you lie on your side. AWESOME!

Kimika I'm sure your little one will be fine - thinking of you!
