Cath - Whoop whoop!!!

Meags - Yipppeeee on the fluttering! Don't worry I am not too different. My ipod was a work gift and since my husband is very musical (has a degree in it!) I have been forced to use it. I do not have a blackberry either and unlikely to get one. My laptop is light and portable and easy to use!
I hope the music doesn't put pressure on Sebastien but he has no chance in this family, he will have to be very used to music!! I think it will cause less pressure afterwards ..... gosh my in laws are obsessed and LOUD!!

Lucy - I think you are going to laugh, but I do not own an ipod!!!! I would never use it...have never seen a use for it...so I never bought one I also do not have a blackberry. I do not understand the hype about all these electronic things!!!

I am going to play the music while I go to sleep. Although I find the music more disturbing than relaxing!! But Shame, it's important to him so I'll do it. I did read somewhere that there is conflicting research about playing 'intelligence' music to babies while in the womb. some research says it is better to leave the baby to develop as if you put pressure on them to develop and be smart, their development may take a back seat
so...1 classical music song per day. that's all he is allowed...and for my sanity too!

I actually felt Matthieu quite a bit yesterday (the light fluttering) but not much today. Not really concerned. I'll monitor the movements once he actually has proper movements that I can monitor acurately.

EmsMom has your neighbours child gone home yet???? That is a bit rude that she wont leave...After 5:30pm families are trying to settle, prepare dinner etc...

So I had a nice relaxing bath and my cat almost jumped in!!!! He was becoming so upset that he couldnt see me fully and kept crying and then tried to leap into the bath!! luckily I got my leg up in time to scare him!

grr long post wiped! all well here in port alfred for few days following family wedding loely and utterly relaxing althoug hurricane like conditions lol! I felt William flutter for the first time this wkend was amazing and exciting! Next wk travlling for work and then grabbing a wkend at the coast-north coast- wit dh cause i will be there for work in the week. I think we will have to stay put in november and start saing for christmas never mind for william lol! :)have a lovely week. Preggy wise i am still feeling great energised happy life is goof, God is so good!!!

Meags - I think it is cute that DH made a music file. Put it on your ipod and put the earplugs in your pants on your belly .... then you don't have to listen to it to!! The classical music will be good for LB!! I am playing eagles, bon jovi (he has to grow up with some culture!!!), deacon blue etc etc!!

Emsmom - Sorry if I already answered ... to lazy to check. I ordered a cherub tree, 2 eco disposables and a whole lot of boosters!!

Kimika - was the calamari/ sushi good? Hope you enjoyed! I'll check for recipes ... I have a few but can never remember which is the nice one!!

Joli - How are you doing? Back ache is a killer. Hope you managed a bit of a rest this evening.

Afm - Today was fever free!! Glands still big but feeling a lot better. Bite is still black and gross looking. I have to go to east london tues and wed.

Kimika, my placenta is nice and high this time, was low for Em, which is why I bled from 13-27 weeks. And the reason I had my c-section.

Today has been a nice day, spent most of it at my folks - with Em in the pool. We had a nice lunch there. Sadly now the neighbours child is here "playing" with Em, I dont mind having her over, cause her mom is a single mom and I know she must need a break, but now its 6:30 on a Sunday, its family time. We've already told her that her mom wanted her home by 6:15, but she just ignored us...

Joli hows your back feeling today? Hope its a bit better.

so Dh has left a folder on the computer called 'Matthieu's music' and it's classical music he wants me to play to the baby every day he's away I really dont like classical music!!!

He still hasnt arrived there yet...shame...it's a 24 hour journey. Cant wait for him to arrive so I can get an sms!!

At least today I was very busy. I got up at 9:30, had to clean the house (it was on show) and decided to bake muffins and banana bread for my brother.
Then went to lunch with my cousin, dropped off the banana bread at my brother, collected a couple of tops I had ordered and came home.
I must admit. 15 minutes of being home and I started feeling a bit down about DH not being here...but I'll be ok.

EmsMom - glad the bleeding was just a couple of drops. Apparently it's normal after the deed. Dh and I have been apart for 2 weeks twice before. And I was terribly miserable both times! I cried A LOT and we ended up fighting a lot because I was so sad he wasnt here etc. This time I am going to refrain from causing unnecessary fights.

Joli - how was hbuzz? she was in hospital last night with bleeding but said everything was ok this morning. Was she ok at you? Have you felt baby?

Kimika I have no idea what goodies I'd like from you! But you make everything look so desirable that I feel like I should be ordering something!

Emsmom, sounds like that rally was no fun at all!! Some people just dont know how to organise fun events Which icelollies are making you so craved?? As for the spotting, do you think you have a low laying placenta?

Meags, shame I can imagine how sad you must have been.. Miami is so far But I agree on a little bit of time away.. always does wonders!! Whats the saying? Absence makes the heart grow fonder

Joli, ah I cant wait to see your shoot photies!! Give H-buzz a hug from all of us! Maybe its because you were so busy and tired that baba was a bit tired too? I remember with my son that if I had a hectic day then he usually didnt kick as much. Maybe after the shoot today really take some time to relax!! Or drink some coffee and see if it gets him kicking a bit?

Oh why do I keep saying *him* for your baba???????? Strange.. Ok if its a girl then I apologise in advance to her

As for the cupcakes.. Im a little bit dissapointed in them.. the taste is yummy and soft but they came out very flat! They need to have a little bit of a bump so that they ice nicely. So Ill try the recipe again with a little bit more baking powder or flour and see.. I always used to make cupcakes with my birthday-cake cake recipe. But I want a recipe for the *real-thing*. Cupcake recipes normally have butter in them.

Someone mentioned having a nice recipe?? Please pass it on.. I really dont feel like making 10 recipes before I find a good one *chomp chomp* *chomp chomp*
