Does anyone of you know where I can get a 4D scan in PTA that is affordable ?

I am going for a 4D in Polokwane beginning of December for R180.00 (We have a family b-day there at that stage), but would like to do one earlier on as well, but not willing to pay R500 to R600 for a scan.

THANK YOU all for your kind words. All of you make sense!! and honestly, I do know that it's difficult and different for the men to bond during pregnancy. But I cant help but feel sad that he cant feel what I feel!!
He did sms me this morning to ask if Matthieu and I would like to join him for lunch so I think he is trying!

I am a bit scared gender is not 100% accurate? my gynae is a bit of a pain and wont confirm anything until the birth!!! She just says 'yes looks like a boy but nothing is confirmed until you see it for real'. so now I am thinking of booking a scan for tomorrow with a lady who does 4D scans by northgate?! Feel silly but dont want to buy stuff without 100% confirmation.

ladies, my one friend is bizarre. some of you on FB may have noticed. (she is the one getting married to the idiot...)
She comments SO many times on each of my statuses. (it's a bit annoying as they are useless comments). I know she is trying to be excited for me and supportive though.
anyway. she wrote Matthieu's name wrong, so I corrected her (twice) and this morning she wrote it wrong again so I corrected her again and then added that even Mael and I are not sure the spelling is correct yet (to lighten the mood). she then sent me a private message saying she is upset with me because she is trying to support me and all I care about is how she spells my child's name when she still has many months to get it right.
No offence to her....but surely it's not mean of me to correct her spelling??????

EmsMom - I am a little jealous about your divine DH but I in no way think you should stop telling us all the nice things he does for you

Meags, I really hope you feel a bit better today.. I felt so sad for you last night (ok I was just way too tired to put it into words) I think you are such an amazing person and you love to show emotion and be emotionally involved in things! Your hubby prob just isnt as emotional and does not show it as much.. Im sure he is excited and just doesnt know how and when to show the emotions. He is going to love his son just as much as any dad loves their babies even if they *show* it more... does that make sense? I think maybe once the baby is there and he can kiss and hold it you will be able to *see* and experience it more with him. And you will be the bestest mommty ever.. I just know it

Oh and someone told me when my son was small that boys are their mommies' angels until they turn 4 then they are their daddies'.. I think its VERY true And I agree with Jess.. you will LOOOVE having a boy.. they can just be the cutest adorablest little things possible.. trust me a kiss from your son on the most unexpected times will make you happier than you ever thought anything will do!!!

Guys I felt horrible last night And that after I was bragging on how good I felt.. I have no idea exactly what I felt I was just *off*. I was extrememly tired the whole day and last night I had heartburn along with that and my tummy just felt HUGE and I was so uncomfortable.. it felt like it was in the way and I kept bumping it with my arms!? Even hubby mentioned that I looked big last night.. Today its better.. wonder if I was bloated or what??? But I do feel my old self again.. strange..

First of all I want to say: Praise God! Its still raining in George!

Meags - Congrats on your angel boy!! Oh you are going to love being a boy mommy, dont you worry!
Sorry about your sadness and anger towards your hubby. But the other ladies are right, a man dont know how to bond with the baby before birth, cause its not as real to them yet as it is for us, especially it its the first baby! He'll come around and the day he holds his son in his arms you're going to have a pleasant surprise.

Kaelae... gosh... I'm stunned. Really... I can't believe the selfishness, heartlesness, cruelty and plain idioticness of some people!!
I would also push her out of my life for good! You don't need people like that to drag you down. Treasure your little miracle and enjoy every second!

AFM: All is well with me and baby. She's still moving quite a bit, especially at night time (oh-oh ... hehe).
Oh I can't wait! :whoohoo: We are leaving for Gansbaai in 3 hours! Hoping to see lots of Whales and hopefully a little baby as well again.
