Well I've just come back from the worst car rally every. We actually eventually left and just came home.
Now before I offend any catholics with my comments, bare in mind my best friends are catholic and I take the micky out of them as well..

Anyways, this car rall was for their church, (yes the catholic church) the first 2 stops were fun, and we were enjoing oiurselves. (dispite the disorder before we were actually able to leave) then we got to stop 4, only to be told no, we're at the wrong stop - and we are at stop 5. Took us 20min to try and figure out how we got to the step 5 with step 3's clue... eventually we found out the women just couldn't count and we were at stop 4...
Then at stop 5 we tried to tell the organisers what happened at stop 4 and were told "tough"...
Anyways then we are given a clue, that only catholics would know!! Which church does the head bishop serve at!! Why would we know that?? Anyways thankfully we had our phones so we googled and go to the church, to have to answer an whole bunch of catholic church questions.... then told to walk through town to the gardens and find a homless person to ask for the next clue (I think its very offensive for a person to dress up like a hobo, in the garden which is rife with homeless) well there was no way I was walking through town with Em, and not to mention I needed to loo and the church would not let me use their bathroom!!
So we all packed up and have come home!

Anyways thats my rant.

Faw, I'm glad you can still work! Was so worried about that.

I'm going to spend the rest of the day doing nothing.

We went out matress shopping this morning.. cant believe how much shops differ in prices!!! Wow and if my son's room wasnt animals I wouldve treated him with one of those cars beds! He looved it and was climbing all over We had to drag him out of the shop crying and kicking! shame!

Faw, I agree, its the best place for your son to be with your mom! Someone he knows and trust and you too!

Im baking another cupcake recipe today.. that other one was nooooo gooood So Ill be gaining another 500g by Monday

emsmom the isolation is after its gone through with the annullment, either 4 menstrual periods or til the baby is born. I can still work and go shopping, but not allowed to go out and party. So if it takes 3 months to happen ill have 2 months of isolation cos im pregnant instead of 4 menstral periods.
With my husbands threats we have decided the safest place for my son to be while i work is with my mom and ill pay her and she wants half of what the creche i wanted to send him to costs. So it benefits everyone.

Shame Meags thinking of you. There's lots of cute boy stuff man - look for dungareens etc. I've been to the shops a couple of times but still didn't find anything nice for our baby . I just don't like clothes with simple writings on and winnie the pooh etc. I've got the cutest girl outfits which I kept from Megan. Bought it from Naartjie so I'm gonna use that if this is a girl for a first outfit. So I also need to find something for a boy.

As for maternity clothes. The clothes in the shops are really horrible! And I can't afford the nice boutique maternity clothes.

Well I think I've overbooked myself a bit, so I'm gonna be real tired after this weekend, but I need the money, so I can't complain. Got 2 newborn shoots tomorrow (I NEVER do 2 x newborns on one day, but both couples called Thursday and both couples babies are already over 2 weeks old, so I can't do it any other weekend). And Sunday morning I'm seeing Hbuzz and her boys .

Ai, I STILL didn't tell my boss. I can't believe I'm struggling like this! With my previous pregnancies I had no problem telling my then boss! Today I had to leave early so I thought it was my chance to tell him, but all I could was manage was to tell him that I've got a doctor's appointment. He never ask why so ya. Hope I can get it done on Monday!

Regarind Muslim marriage law - dont you need to go into isolation for a certain period of time before a divorce can be approved? Just something I recall reading or watching once.

Hi again.
Spoke if you can call it that to my husband. He told me last night that he will divorce me because i refuse to let him take my son away from me. Went to get advice today. I told him that either he divorces me or ill get the marriage annulled. He refuses to do the dirty work so i have told him im going ahead and getting it annulled and he told me to do whatever pleases me. So thats where i stand. Sorting it out on monday but it takes about 3 months for it to happen. As soon as i get my first off day during the wk im going to go get the interdict and get things moving legally as well. He has no leg to stand on in the eyes of the law. A childs place is to be with their mom. And i didn't go through 14 hours of induced labour just to give my son away.
