Emsmom - so sorry about the MS - I have had it really bad twice where it went on for days and nothing stayed down. Have been a bit quesy today, but at least have not got sick! Sure you know all the tricks....just hope its "the last batch"

OMG Kimika peppermint crisp tart!! It's really my favourite! Second favourite is Banoffee (that's where you layer i think tennis biscuits, caramel, cream and banana! Scrumptious!)

Kimika, what are your dh's reservations? Medical aids love Genesis cause it's actually cheaper and my dh was also sceptical and thought it a bit fad-dish but when he went to see Maryke and checked out the place he was impressed. His main concern was lack of pain relief (LOL for me not him!) He just thought it too barbaric to have me in pain with no 'choice' involved but of course now we know that's not an issue. I think it's fine to be in a bit of pain anyway, although of course I have no idea what I'm talking about!

I didn't get my first choice midwife (Hennie) but she recommended Dr Phindi I mean Sr Phindi who sounds nice, I'm seeing her on Friday morning early which is convenient work wise!

Emsmom so glad scan was good and big hug for you with ongoing feeling bad. I hope it leaves you soon. Misty I'm chuffed for you that the medical aid issues are sorted!

Thanks Lucy - ((hugs)) ... it does give me a bit of comfort and more hope as I also could see it clearly and doc says so far everyone looks great. We are going for our 21 week anomaly scan the next time and hopefully all will look well on there as well. My docter said he will spend at least half an hour on the scan to check everything.
Haven't decided on any names yet... me and hubby still thinking and looking for the right name.

Haylee, what area are you in?

AFM, scan went super well, risk for downs is low, and Dr is 100% he knows the sex - kept wanting to tell me and I kept telling him no. He's like a child with a Christmas pressie.

However other than the scan I've been sick as all hell. I have been able to eat nothing today at all without vomiting it all up. My body is in pain from it, and all I want to do is sleep. I was pretty sure it would have been gone by 12 weeks.

Anyways, hopefully tomorrow will be better.
