I have only now been able to log in now! we have been having power failures at work and with that been having problems with the server. with that said, I hope this Msg goes through.

Well DF is coming home from George today, so glad, cuddling with a pillow is just not the same as cuddling with your loved one....lol

As for DF, Today he finds out that he will o longer be a smoker. If he has 2 smokes left in the pkt, then he better enjoy them too cause it will be his last! and he will also be going out and looking for a 2nd job as of Monday. I refuse to have to worry about everything and he just gets to ride the rolercoaster..... so If he does not like me that much this weekend, that is fine too, but i'm putting Both feet down now and I'm superglueing them to the ground too.

Baby Van Kerken is doing well I would assume, have has little bit "strange" aches in my sides of my tummy but there has been no blood or strange discharge, I am thinking it could be part constipation cause that has been less(do not want to be too grafic LOL)

I am having my next scan at 07:45 on the 6th(next week Wednesday) I really hope we can see him/her "awake" would b nice to see the movement, but most important of all is hearing/seeing the heart beat. Gosh I wish It was Wednesday already!!!!!!!

I'm the same with finding out the sex. I'm so tired of people complaining that we are not finding out. And saying "so what are you going to do" Um, I'm going to buy nutural colours. No rules that say we can't buy pink or blue after the birth. And anyways, they babies dont really leave the house till like 6 weeks, so who cares what colour they are in. (and even if you dress your girl from head to toe in pink, someone will still ask what HIS name is...) I love babies in white as well, so thats fine for us

Cath, your dh sounds like a sweetie! And dont stress to much about not feeling the fluttering, rule of thumb is if you are lucky you'll feel it around 16 weeks.

I've broken the next year up into months:
2 months till Christmas time!
4 months till DH birthday!
6 months till my and babies birthday!
10 months till Em's birthday!

Dont seem that long!

Have been away facilitating a leadership course, was lucky to be able to get home a couple of nights and not spend the entire time away from home!
I'm tired of waiting (3 weeks since last scan) so I'm seeing Maryke tomorrow at 7am. Just to see what's happening with William. I've still not felt any fluttering and I think I am about 18 weeks now, bleh I heard you could feel fluttering by 16 weeks...
Hi to everyone! Lucy sorry about your big shock. The one bit of [positive is that your dh has communicated this to you and as a result you are in a position to address it -it would've been much worse if he felt this and you were clueless. But I can imagine how hurt and ANGRY you must have felt. Going off meds can do strange things to people...try stay positive and work with it and work together to turn it aroud. Good luck!
Love to all the beautiful preggy fairies! I bought some nice preggy work stuff although I don't think I'm showing yet LOL but perhaps I am in denial. When my dh came to pick me up in magaliesburg to take me home for a night the first thing he did was give my stomach a kiss and say hello to William. If our son is anything like his dad he is going to be a really wonderful and beautiful human being. This morning we woke up and couldn't quite believe that all things going well, in 5 months time William will be with us! there will be a baby in the house! Thank God for maternity leave! I Think it's going to be a blast LOL!

Good Morning Ladies . I've been so quiet lately, trying to catch up on some work and both my girls and hubby were sick this week. Just glad I'm still OK. Hate getting flu. Megan is still coughing and she's back in our bed so I don't get much sleep.

Kimika - Nope - I'm still VERY determined NOT to find out the sex. Especially now after the family is making such a big issue out of it. I'm one of those people that when people tell me I can't do something or being stupid for not doing something / do something, I will do it just to show them. Childish I know . But I really think it would be lovely to wait and when baby is born to see what we were blessed with. I keep telling myself it's a girl, but then keep thinking it might be a boy. And all my dreams re birth of baby is a boy.

Areej - I've got 2 girls. Kayla is 7 and Megan is turning 3 in December. 3rd little rascal on the way. Very unplanned and huge surprise! Starting to get a bit excited now.

Kaylae - I used to drink lemon juice to help with the nauseous.

Well girls I have finally reached the honeymoon stage - YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No more nauseous, no more extreme tiredness. Meeting my gynae for the first time next week - hope he is nice. I don't feel like searching for another one. Tomorrow I'm 17 weeks!!! And I feel huge.

I haven't bought anything for the baby as yet. Not sure why. This pregnancy is just very different from my other pregnancies. I couldn't wait to find out the sex with the girls, I bought things very early etc. etc., but now it's like the time just goes. When I do go to the shop, there's nothing I like anyways. We won't be doing a baby room either as the baby will sleep in our room anyways.

AFM-the receptionist at dr's surgery is making me naar,he said he won't be in the whole of september and our next scan is monday 4\10 and now she tells me that he won't be taking any appointments.I told her if i have to come there and see him kicking and screeming i will do it
DH and I are well,he said he wants to be the best DH,support and care for me
Is it healthy I always crave lemon and salt....hmmmm eating it now that i am typing
