Lucy - wow girl, so sorry about the nastiness you have to go through with you hubby... its horrible that you have to hear stuff like that when your pregnant I really also think he is feeling so guilty about the smoking that he's trying to pass his guilt onto you now. Really hope you two will sort things out quick...maybe do consider getting some help.

Joli! gosh woman... can't believe you still keeping that huge secret from your boss! Remember the longer you wait the harder it gets to do it... hehe, please do tell him soon!

Areej - welcome girl! hope you'll have a wonderful, blessed pregnancy and get plenty of laughs and advice from the girls here.

Oh Tazzy, sorry you didn't find out the sex of little one... I'm going for my 17 wk scan tomorrow afternoon and REALLY hoping baby plays along and shows us a good look between the legs!
Other than that, all is well, except struggling with my sinusses...ugh...

So Tazzy in the same boat as me, we will just have to wait and see for the next scan!!!!!

I have a moses basket that is basically been passed down from generation to generation - so its been with me for the past 7yrs now...lol

The LO only able to sleep in it for about 3months, then they start moving and the basket starts moving, then you become paranoid, then the thing gets packed away!

Will yours be covered?

Tazzy, so glad the scan went well, sorry you didn't find out the sex, but I'm sure you will next time

I was told twice yesterday to stop buying baby stuff cause other people would want to buy for me - but I dont expect anyonet o buy me a pram, or a camp cot, those are too expensive! And even if I have 30 people at my baby shower - not everyone is going to bring the right size baby grow for the first few weeks - so then what do I do?
Am I being unreasonable? I like having things sorted out way in advance, not leaving it before the 2 weeks before I give birth when my mom will more than likely plan the shower.

I know my folks would buy some of the big things - but the in-laws wouldn't be able to afford to. - Well no they would, but FIL wont spend money. So my folks are getting us the moses basket which is already a lot of money, I cant expect them to get more of the big things.

Anyways...

Hi Ladies,

Just a quick post to let you know that my scan went well. Baby was EXTREMELY active so Dr couldnt even get a glimpse between the legs. Im a little disapointed because now I have to wait 6 weeks until we can possibly see the sex.

My next scan is 9 November @ 22 weeks.

Lucy - Im so sorry to hear what you are going through. I am sure you and DH will sort things out. I hope he opens his eyes soon!
Im thinking of you!! ( this cant be nice for you)

wow, its quiet here today...

Lucy, I love the civillain blind stuff, I recall as a child having a wicker pram, and I adored it. My mom just bought Em one for her birthday as well. There stuff lasts! I was also surpised at the price. The bargain shop my mom was at were selling there ones for R900, or renting for 3 months for R400.

How long would you give it before aproaching him again?

Today was a yucky day for me, I have been so out of it and tired, which makes me snappy at Em - which I feel so crap for - but when i tried to nap with ehr I just couldn't sleep. then had a violent moment of MS - seems I get at least 1 daya week of it.

And now still have to go to my folks for supper - I love seeing them, but would really just rather rest.

I haven't even cleaned anything in the house, and looking at the chaos bugs me, but have no energy to get up and do something about it.
