Kimika - Chan told me about this website: tinyinteriors.co.za or maybe .com (porridge brain sorry) they have the most gorgeous wallpaper border. Then they have matching, light switch covers and height charts, linen, nappy holders, tissue box covers, name letters etc etc. I am going for a browny beige and blue with the border and then I'll buy maybe 3 or 4 matching accessories to juj it up a bit. The rest will be whatever I can find. I'll probably make the linen and curtains I'll seee what waste centre has.

Emsmom - He is slinking around looking sheepish but that is not good enough. I need a big sorry. I am willing to do my part to make him feel more loved etc but he has to realise how badly he went about this and how much he hurt me. The sobbing etc I have done over the last few days can't have been good for Seb either. Not to mention the shock when I saw him with a cigarette.

Emsmom, I say if you want to buy stuff now and can afford it then go for it!! You cant sit around waiting for other people to eventually decide to buy you something if you can have it now If I had finances now I would def go and buy everything in one week!! It would be great to have everything sorted and ready in advance. Maybe then just keep most of the stuff's slips and pricetags on so that if you get doubles you can just change for something else? Or then leave a list of things that you are ok for other people to buy like toys and goodies.

Girls, as for the sinus, you can use Illiaden but only for 5 days otherwise it just makes it worse! Other thing I find really helpfull is to buy that Saline Sinus Rinse (SSR) from the pharmacy. Its a saline solution that you use to rinse out the sinuses. You get a little squeezy bottle and sachets that you mix with boiled cooled water. It works great for me. Also if you really feel nothing is working then ask your dr for something prescribed.

Lucy, I agree with you.. everytime Im planning, buying or doing something for the baby I feel a bit closer and more bonded.. it makes it more of a reality... and ofcourse I thrive on retail therapy Hey share some wild animal nursery ideas!! I still need to do a bit more in my boys' room.. its kinda bland Done my canvasas yesterday, will post a pic a bit later. Now Im planning the duvet for my oldest one.. want to do animals like lion, elephant and giraffe images but stitched out of fabric.. still need to figure out how!

Lucy, I also would rather have too much, and give what I don't use away you know? And I hate not doing things, my mind has to be active all the time, planning, so for me at the moment buying baby things makes me feel like I'm in control of it all.

How has your dhs attidude towards you been since? Does he act remorsful at all?

At this rate I'm going to probably be a Feb mom rather than March. But lets see what happens - i'll walk on my hands if I have to keep baby in there as long as possible (or at least as close to 1 March as I can) as I'm planning on working up until the end of Feb if possible.

my next appointment is 11 October @ 19 weeks.

Oh Tazzy - The cheeky monkey! That is so frustrating. Does he/ she not know that Mom has lots of organising and planning to get on with!

Emsmom - I would rather have too much than too little. If you are not putting financial strain on yourselves by getting stuff then I say why not. The happiest I have been recently and the most real baba has seemed to me has been when I have been getting stuff and planning stuff for him.
PS The wild animal nursery ideas are growing and growing! Yippee
The roof is going on our extension at the moment. So yesterday, today and tomorrow DH is working like 15/ 16 hour days to get it done. So now is not the right time to talk to him. I am being civil to him but VERY guarded. Probably talk on friday.
