Hi Meags. So glad you are back . Tell me, did you get to work with Veronica or Marilyn? And if you did, how was it??????????? Meags that was your baby you felt. I felt Kayla for the first time 13 weeks and then only gain at 18 weeks. Meags sneak in a scan!

LOL Jessica I feel the same. DH told me last night that I never get excited about anything and I was like WTF - a car is a car and a TV is a TV and I don't get excited about these things. I get excited about babies and the stuff my kids do and holidays and feeling baby moving etc. And all I watch anyways is 7de Laan so I really do not care about DSTV or the new thing he is raving about. Oh and I get excited about my strawberries growing in the garden!

Areej - I booked my first midwife at 7 in the morning and then after that I said - never again!

Emsmom - I will never forget when I took Kayla to Pick & Pay once - she was about 2 months old, dressed in a pink frilly outfit with a pink blanky and this couple asked me - oh cute - is it a boy or a girl? I was like HUH??!! I like white clothes as well. Anyways so many people will buy the wrong clothes anyways like 0 - 3 months all summer and March is already getting cooler so ya.

Girls is it normal to get braxton hicks already. I get them quite often, and strong. My whole tummy pulls very tight, not sore. I'm 17 weeks tomorrow. Tomorrow I need to go do the monthly shopping, but I'm thinking of making a list and sending DH. And Sunday I've got a family shoot. 8 months old baby boy. Should be fun.

My next appointment is on 11 October.....can't wait to see little bean bouncing around! LOL

Oh those dreams are not fun. I also had horrid dreams last night, not of DH, but of zombies and terminators... odd, but I woke up in a panic.

yes the "movements" feel like popping bubbles, or popcorn. Yay for moving baby!

Since yesterday I have not been able to keep anything down. I'm actually now to scared to eat or drink anything cause I end up straight back at the loo. All I seem to be able to handle is lollipops...

Oh I'm so happy it's the weekend!!! I've got such a busy weekend planned - tomorrow we're leaving early to go buy Bryce's bed, side-table, bedding, curtains etc etc. Then to Builders to get the stain & paint rollers. So Sunday while Bryce & I are attending a baby shower DH can start by painting the room while we're not there!

Got our new TV last night, DH is more excited about it than I am - a TV is a TV is a TV..... as long as I can watch 7de laan & Pasella I'm set.

BUT I'm going to try twist DH's arm so we can go buy my new 13kg washing machine this weekend too at Metro Home Centre in Pretoria!!!! So keep your fingers crossed - but there might not be enough time!

Meags - what are my chances of having natural birth this time! I really want to avoid a c-sec!!

I'm back Cant do personals as you chatted 3 pages so will just reply to what I can remember!!

Tazzy - your baby is so cheeky!!! cant believe he/she wouldnt show you anything!!

Lucy - I was working in private so no sneaky scans for me Otherwise I definitely would have!!!! My uterus is measuring big for my weeks. I am a bit worried as it could indicate soemthing called polyhydramnios (too much amniotic fluid) which can be an indication of abnormalities. I know I'm being silly - but cant help being a little worried. By now my uterus should be sitting half way between pubic bone and belly button and mine is just below my belly button (which measures 20 weeks). So I'm a little anxious and really want to go for a scan. Wondering if I shouldnt just book with Maryke next week even though my gynae appointment is the following week just to put my mind at rest.

Work was alright. Joli - you are going to LOVE birthing there. It is just so amazing. For me, working there is a little boring as I am an assistant to the private midwives and therefore dont do the births and mainly do a lot of admin. I had to do their monthly stats

Tonight I am going to a bachelorette party where there will be a private male dancer! should be fun!

Had the most horrible dreams of DH I hate dreams that feel so real. And I'm feeling really sad today as he is going to be away from 17-31 October in Miami. I am going to miss him

I think I felt movement on Wednesday. Those who feel movement/had a previous baby, does it feel like little tiny bubbles popping under your skin? I had those little feelings for about 3 minutes. It definitely wasnt gas (I know that feeling well ) and it wasn't muscle twitching as it was just gentle popping that was slower than muscle twitching. However, I had felt nothing since.

My uterus is sitting to the right so when I lie down, I have a big lump on the right of my tummy Looks so cool!!!!

I have 2 boys, ages 6yrs and 4yrs....oh but what monstas lol, everyday its something new between the two of them.... the youngest tells me at nite when he gets into bed with us for story time

mommy please turn ur back towards me, i might just get excited when reading my book and kick ur tummy...lol

Ems - ur a bad influence - now i am itching to go across the road to get something.....lol
