Meags - Sorry Hun!! I liked Ems idea about staying away, cos I agree that he just needs a wake up call. My DH has been on anti- depressants and I just found out that he has been weaning himself off ...... without the doctors instructions!! No wonder he hasn't been getting it! But had a good chat with him and he agrees now is not the time. Shoo.

Kimika - The travel system was awesome. I bought it!! It is a peg pliko p3. It is about 3 years old. It has a few scratches on it but nothing excessive. It is red and charcoal, mainly charcoal. It even came with the base for the car seat. So I am super stoked. Good luck with finding your old mat stuff :)

EmsMom - I am addicted to gumtree, I am getting so many bargains!! The best part about the travel system is it was 5minutes away!! I was really stressing about buying stuff so early but my sister told me to stop being silly and I'll be so grateful when everything is done when I am huge and uncomfortable. Also this way it spreads the expenses a bit.

AFM - I am going to believe that all is going to be well and stop preparing for the worst. Buying something is NOT going to make me lose my baby!
DH and I have been discussing the nursery and guess what? we what to go with a wild animal theme. It just seems so appropriate! DH has always wanted to make his child a rocking horse so I asked if he could make a rocking zebra .... he thought it was a brilliant idea. Yipppeeeee!! :)

Meags, glad you feeling a little better today. I really hope Dh comes around soon.

I know the feeling about the bird - this week-end we housesat for my folks, and they live on the wetlands, so always wildlife around, so we had about 3 sparrows flying doen the chimeny and waking us up on Sat morning, and then today has to rescue a feild mouse the cat was chasing, the cat wouldn't stop, so I locked her in a cupboard till we had taken the mouse outside.

So we went shopping today, went to JK kids cause apparently they were having a big sale - which actually meant there was just ugly stuff left at over R100 each, so I'll take em to pep tomorrow thanks.
But did get 2 tommie tippie bottles and finally got a maternity bra. I'm pretty sure I got something else but for the life of me I can't recall...

decided I'm really not getting any maternity clothing, they are all so ugly and then add the word matenirty and the price doubles. I will buy flowing dresses and tops rather.

Hi ladies

well I had diarrhoea through the night still but I do feel a bit better today. so lets hope!!!!

I told DH what a bad husband he is and he said he didnt know he wanted me to take him....HELLO!!! I shouldnt have to ask when he's knows I'm ill!! aarrggg.....

EmsMom, I cant go stay with anyone as most of my friends live far from me and are either working or away for the long weekend. All that really happens is DH just confirms to me how useless he really is...so if that's what he's trying to prove - he's doing a good job at it.

My cat brought in a baby bird this morning :( it's wing was injured. I cant keep it (he brings in so many) so we tried to hide in far from the house. I told DH to sort it out as it just breaks my heart.

Otherwise not much to report. Went to a family friend's birthday on Friday night and everyone says there is no chance I am 14 weeks. They say I am either carrying twins or already 20 weeks  so yip...my tummy is showing a lot. It actually looks bigger in clothing though that bare.
Put on a dress today and it is very snug around my tummy so guess I wont get much more wear out of it :(

Saw the CUTEST baby clothing yesterday in Fourways Mall (for those who live in JHB). Entrance 1 opposite Jeuval hair salon. As soon as I know the sex, I am going to buy a few items!!

Hey ladies

meags, how are you feeling today?? Any better?

Kimika, nice that you still have maternity clothing! I'm really putting of buying anything, and actually think that I'll ask my MIL to make my some nice pants like she did last time. Will be carrying mostly in summer, so will live in dresses :)

We're having a bit of a lzy day today, but promised Em I'd take her shopping for some enw clothing, but she is SO snotty now which is making her tired, so might have to do it tomorrow.

DH had a cold, which he gave to Em, I'm glad I have not gotten it. And have discovered that when I eat anything with sugar in it I get a migraine! So baby has put me on diet :( Guess its not a bad thing. I'm just snacking on fruits today when I need a sweet fix.

How is everyone else doing? Hope things are going well for all of you. :)

Hi girls!! Had a busy weekend sofar and Im totally kapoot!

Lucy, how was the travel system??

Tazzy, wow great that you feel that movement every day, Im not feeling that much .. only now and then and then its just that funny motion feeling..

Meags, ag sorry your feeling so down :( Hubby needs a good kick under his butt! You really need to get better soon or just go see a dr! Seems you got a bug then you need to *starve* it by not eating, but not eating while your preggie is also not good :( Just stick to the apples and engergade then for atleast 24hrs.

Went out looking for a nice little outfit for my new little guy.. was seriously dissapointed at whats available in the shops!! Also had a look at some maternity clothes but didnt have time to buy anything (I always fit everything before buying!!) so Ill be going back on Tuesday or so..

Tomorrow will unpack all my old maternity wear, atleast I have some preggie shorts in there somewhere.. I just cant wear my normal things anymore.. was wearing my fav jeans today and I was sooo uncomfortable!!

Damnit, had a long post, and lost it, will try remember what I said..

Meags, sorry your DH is being such a toss. Perhaps if you can, go and stay with a friend for the night? And if he asks why, just tell him that if he can't be bothered to look after you when you need it then you'll go to someone who will. I think he needs a bit of a wake-up call.

Lucy thats a great price! I also hunt for bargains everyday and will buy if I find a good one. Found a mobile electric breast pump for R500 last week, so we got that. My mom will get us the moses basket enxt week, and then we basically need the travel system and a camp cot. Have a friend giving us a bath, swing and bouncy chair.

Tazzy, you are so lucky to feel the baby every day, I can't wait for that. But am only really expecting it at about 15weeks. I felt em at 15weeks, so maybe a little earlier this time, but I'm not going to stress about it. I can't believe I'm already 11weeks. Only 6 months to go till d day :)

Yesterday and today I've been feeling a bit yucky, yesterday had a serious headache, so slept for pretty much the entire day. And this morning I felt good and fine, till around 12, when the headache came back, along with serious vommiting. DH is getting worried about the headaches, but I'm sure its just part of pregnancy. The poor man worries so much about me. But he's so good, arranged yesterday for Em to go spend the night at her nana, and kept her entertained till she went and today took her out and again kept her busy so I can rest. Such a sweet man.
