Fawhaway, Ill send you the photos to your email. But be warned they are not easy flowers! I cant do them myself so need to buy from someone.

Joli, aag shame man!! zzzzzzzzzzz :) hope you get to have some catchup sleep tonight! Im kinda tired myself.. my son was singing and chatting from 2am until 4am this morning.. he even started kissing me!! Which saved him from my mood because he is never ever a kissy boy

Thanks for the name ideas.. I also like Daniel.. and Jaemie (is this spelling silly?) and Ruan. Will put them on my list!

KarinM, good luck again for thursday!! Will def have you in my thoughts the whole day and sommer the 2ww :) But Im sure you will just find out everything is fine with your babie! Will they also be able to tell you gender with the amnio? ;) lol.. me and my curiosity!! xxx

Cath, how was your weekend??? Ah that ticker is sooo cute.. maybe I can change mine again  hehe

Mistymom, the ms will soon dissapear and then you wont believe how good and glowy you feel!! Hope you dont talk to mr loo again soon!!

Jessica, ouch.. yeah that was a bit of a touchy touchy thing!! But I think you handled it well in your email to her.. did she reply?? Thank goodness you are immune! I had the same thing happen to me when I was about 9wks preggie with my son, and when I phoned the gynae she said that at that development stage the embrio or fetus (not sure what it is at that stage) can get the virus and would cause deformity in its limbs etc! So it really is quite serious if you were to get it even mildly!

You need to redo the whole thing! I did mine on the weekend too. But lilypie has a option where you register and then they savve it. Just havent done it yet.

Meags, I cant believe that your gynae didnt even bother to let you know :( So what happens now? Do you just need to be very carefull of not getting it? My SIL also get tested when she told gynae she is ttc and then also had low immunity and he actually had her go back on the Pill for a few months so she wont fall preggie!

Ok I was just playing, they are sooo cute! My boy's animal theme going on there..

oh don't you worry meags that is exactly what I'm planning on doing.

I've already told DH that he can tell his whole family from me to f&ck right off a cliff.

can anyone remember how to adjust these tickers again? My EDD date has moved a bit & I'm updating my tickers.

Thank God for that Jessica. But I would also still keep my distance!!!! Especially after her nastiness.

I was so angry with the first gynae I saw. I told her my neighbour has measles and that we arent sure if it's measles or german measles and I didnt know if I was immune to it and had been playing with her just before her rash started!!
She did the test (which is standard anyway) and said she'd call me if there were any issues.

She never called. Anyway, when I changed gynae's and went 6 weeks later, my new gynae asked me "why the hell are you not vaccinated against german measles??? do you know how dangerous that is?? etc etc etc"

I cant believe the first gynae didnt call me to tell me especially after I told her I'd been around a child who may have had it!!!

Hi ladies

wow Jessica what a situation. I would of definitely also told her to catch a lift with someone else!!! Remember though, chicken pox is not the dangerous one in pregnancy. German measles (rubella) is the dangerous one which can cause so many problems/abnormalities/miscarriage. However, you still dont want to be getting chicken pox when pregnant!!!! we need to try remain as healthy as possible for our babies.

Kaylae, maybe your mom and my DH could be friends  They seem to both me so anti - baby at the moment.

Karin will be praying you for and your baby that everything goes well xx

Cath, I know what you mean about feeling worried. I dont even know how many scans I've had :p I'm lucky to work in a hospital though so got more access than normal. But I usually feel fine for a week after the scan and then I start to become anxious again.

Cant scroll down any further so sorry for those who posted something important!!

Went to have the scan at my friend. Shame she couldnt get a great angle so I had to scan myself which wasnt very easy!! But baby was sleeping with it's back towards us and would then somersault to it's tummy but wouldnt face us!! So we just saw the legs kicking, baby rolling over and the spine. Was cool to see anyway though and the family friend I took with was amazed by it and she got to hold a baby that was 1 hour old so she is just smiling from ear to ear now :)

hi

Blood results came back & everything is fine. I'm immune to chickenpox so I have nothing to worry about. THanks heavens!! (but I'm still not going to tempt fate if you know what I mean!)

This is the e-mail I sent her shortly afterwards:

I'm truly dissapointed that you really think that little of me (but perhaps its a good thing that you went off at me like that because at least I know where I really stand with you).

I never implied nor insinuated that this is you or your childrens fault but if that is what you choose to believe then so be it. As I said to you over the phone I'm upset & worried about the whole situation and until I get the results of the blood tests I'm going to be fretting about it. And when I needed to bend someone's ear about my worries you chose to freak out at me & act like you & your children are being victimised.

But regardless of that & what you choose to believe is my opinion on your children, I do care for them & haven't once implied that they (or you for that matter) are to blame for this (as being sick isn't anyone's fault but I thought you might have been more understanding towards me and my situation, but that was my mistake, sorry about that).
