I think with me it was because dh and I had been trying for so long that the journey became a part of us and the trying made dh want a baby more, before we fell pregnant he said to me already I wont have time to go with you to scans and this and that and, and, and, but he has been there every step of the way, not sure if its because its triplets, but Im happy/glad/lucky he is excited about it all.

im doing ok, really feel like im carrying at 30w (even though I dont know what it feel like, but I can imagine ) Dr told me yesterday he doesn't think I will carry further than 32w (beg/mid Dec), im booking my bed at 24w, not sure when or what, but im sure dr will let me know, if i do go into labour before they will admit me and start with the steroid injections, so just wait and see for me.

Joli sorry about the bad mood, I know that sometimes us ladies do get a little over sensitive with our DH's.
I like the names - we had Daniel and Nathan on our boy list as well. But think we've settled on Samuel now. My dad's second name is Daniel.

Meags, sorry about DH, but like all the other ladies say, perhaps once baby is born it will swing round. Its very hard, but you know also when he can feel the baby etc it might be more real for him as well.

I haven't done any maternity clothing, can still fit into all my pants, and my tops are all those flowing dress tops anyways. I did look at some maternity clothing the other day, but they are all so frumpy - Just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I've aged 30 years!

I'm waiting for warmer weather and I'll get some nice dresses to live in for the rest of the pregnacy

THX Chris . It's true what you say about DHs. I think for a lot of men the baby is not real, until they are born, but it must be annoying. We as women want to feel special and loved, especially by the man who created the baby! My DH says I'm very demanding and jealous and emotional when I'm preggars . How are you doing Chris? See you are blessed with 2 girls and 1 boy! That's so awesome. Have you got a c-section date as yet or will you just carry until you go into labour?

Meags, hang in there with DH, a friend of mine who had her baby recently said that her dh wasn't so interested during the pregnancy as it was a shock for him also to find out they were expecting, but when the baby was born, he was smitten, maybe your dh is like that too. You know the saying, women become mothers the day they find out they're pregnant and men only become fathers when their babies are born. Shaame, Im sure its frustrating though, hang in there hun xox

He he Meags, they are both nice names. My cousin's name is Brett and my best friend's son is Alexander so can't use them if I have a boy. I think we gonna stay with Kyle and Kelly.

I'm feeling a bit better. DH called just now to apologize. Says he is really very sorry. He thought the spider was in the bathroom (but then again it's cause he is forever watching top gear on his pc and not listening when we talk ). But I'm feeling better, just very tired. I think I might go do some retail therapy later when my boss is out!!

I haven't bought any maternity clothes as yet. But I'm looking for a nice bright pink or red summer dress. Will see if Edgar's got anything cause that's all where I can buy for now (on account). I'm so broke!! I urgently need to get some work in so I can pay off my debt before baby arrives, so pls girls, if you know of anyone in JHB wanting to do maternity or newborn shoots or even family shoots, please refer them to me - www.jolijacqueline.co.za - will try to update my site soon.

Meags 23 days doesn't sound that long, but 3 weeks does . Did you mention to DH anything about the mail??

Sorry about your DH. I also would have been upset with mine if he did that. They know we are tired....

As for mine. I actually dont even want to go to Maryke now. I thought he would be excited and look forward to it and he clearly isnt so ya. I'll just sulk for the next 23 days I know it isnt that far. But I had really set my heart on finding out sooner!
I am still upset with him. It's like nothing excites him about the baby.
Yesterday he asked me to go into his email to give him some info and I read an email his friend sent him. Initially he had written "Not sure if you heard my wife is pregnant. Was quite a shock. But I cant complain"

I mean really!!! of course you cant bloody well complain!! It is such a blessing and so many people are desperate for children.

anyway. on a lighter note...I am off to my friend to have a scan. maybe it'll put me in a better mood

Lucy, thats so exciting about your purchases. where did you get all that stuff for so cheap??? I havent bought one maternity thing that was under R200!!!! I now have 3 pants, 1 shorts, 1 top and 3 jerseys. And it cost a fortune!!
