Joli - Your scan pics are adorable! i cant wait for my scan next week

Lucy - I remember feeling very dizzy with my first preg. It almost felt like I was drunk. Just be careful driving when you feel like that. I know you do a lot of driving!!

Meags - We still havent done it, but I promised DH it would happen soon. I dont think its neccesary to use condoms. I think semen only has an effect later on in the third trimester.

I'm trying to change my appointment next week for Monday instead of Friday, cos DH cant make fri. The silly lady hasnt phoned me back yet to let me know!
Is 12w4 days too early for the Nuchal Trans (downs syndrome) testing?

lucy-- shame ur feeling horrible,but they say MS is a good sign and also shows a healthy pregnancy.. so go with tht..

meags-- my Dh is also not getting any action,but besides for us its fasting so its hectic anyway.. will see after my first trimester..
AFM-- had a hectic sat, MIL phoned me sat morning from work to say dh 2sisters and their kids all 13 of them were coming to break fast and have supper at our place,so i clearly wasent impressed.. but yea had a hectic day trying to sort out things..sunday was lazy..
Girls im also deff starting to show in my tummy,tough i have been eating quite strictly apart from last nights scones with strawberry jam.. i soo wanna be one of those women tht only put on 8KG, CSE WITH MY FIRST 2 I PUT ON NEARLY 15KG.. and becose im rather short i look like an elephant.. deff gonna start with treadmill after first trimester..
glad noo cooking today,have leftovers.. hows everyone else doing

Joli - Oh your LO is precious! I am sure that was a very long 5 minutes. So glad all is well. And thanks for your kind words!

Shols - Like your "story" I found out my friend was going on sat and so thought sun would be a good option ..... but sun was not a good day for me. Oh well, sounds like baby city will have a lot of things anyway!

Meemo - I didn't know you had spotting .... how is it going? Thinking of you hun.

Meags - DH is on rations! Gynae said it is OK but I feel too horrible. DH is very overweight and the thought of him on top of me is too much right now. Poor man. That is so cool that your tummy is showing without really gaining any weight. I am eating a lot more than normal to try keep the nausea at bay, so I am sure I am just going to look porky! Scale is still saying a weight loss of about 0.5kg but then that also depends on whether (TMI.....) i managed a number 2 recently or not! Oh the joys!

I am so excited for my next scan...counting down...14 days!!

Tazzy, I cant suck in my tummy at all. even when I try, I still look pregnant. So I am just accepting that I am showing early. even though I know the baby has not moved into my tummy yet, clearly the "cushioning" has begun to show!!
I have gained 800g so far but not too stressed. apparently 1.5kg in first trimester is normal.

As for me, we are going to a place called Ukutula in Brits to go feed baby lions and cheetahs!! DH has had a long weekend off from work so been spending time together, trying to resolve things. Had a break from each other for about 4 hours yesterday as he met a friend at the airport and that was nice to just get to chill and watch something I want to watch on TV for once!!!

Otherwise nothing to report...I am feeling heavy in my uterus/vagina. And I had to laugh...sorry, the following is TMI....when we did the deed, afterwards DH said to me "something is not right down there anymore....it doesnt feel the same..." so I asked what he meant and he said "There is some sort of big hard lump in your vagina". Haha how I laughed. i told him that's the baby he was busy poking!!! you should have seen his face

And for anyone still having sex, do you use condoms???

Shame Lucy - when I fell pregnant I promised myself I'm not going to complain, but the first couple of weeks were really terrible for me as well and our poor hubbys just have to listen. I didn't know those dopplers only works from about 14 weeks! Must tell you that 5 minutes between the 2 appointments felt very long! And I had terrible cramps Friday night, so bad that I woke up like 3 times in pain - must have been baby moving out from behind my pelvis.

Shols - what work does hubby do?
