Joli congrats on the 12 week mark so cool.

Lucy, I went for the expo. and i had a lovely time - was very weary tho but had a lovely time. Luckily for me DH works at a Hospital so if any1 saw us, we had complimentary tickets from his hospital
He works for a private hospital that runs baby seminars alot.

I enetered a few competitions and just browsed around for fun.

Im feeling abit eaky today had alittle bit of tummy cramps lastnyt too. nauseas from tym to tym but handling it well so far. appointment on wednesday so cant wait. I am praying all is well.

Joli - Your scan sounds amazing! If LO was so active you could well be feeling the movement, since you know what to look for. Isn't it amazing that it already looks like a little baby? I thought those dopplers only work from14-16 weeks anyway! I looked at a scan on the internet this weekend for 12 weeks and I thought the amount of movement was incedible. Well done Mommy!!

Meags - it's very possible to show at 10 weeks. You must see what I look like now at 12 weeks. I haven't picked up any weight yet, but there is not question on whether I'm pregnant or not!

Rakker - don't tell your company that you are preggars until you are permanently employed. I'm pregnant with my 3rd very unplanned baby and I honestly also don't understand anything on the TTC thread as I've never taken my temps or charts or anything. All I know is that DH and I still don't know how and when I fell pregnant! And according to my dates, I conceived 3 days after we did the deed and we did use protection. Actually DH didn't even finish - sorry TMI. So ya, these things happen. I cried and cried and cried when I first found out re this pregnancy and honestly I'm still very nervous when I think that I will actually have THREE kids!! Always wanted a 3rd, but not right now.

Shame Meemo - try not to stress. Your pregnancy will be 100%!

Tazzy - I'm also certain that I'm feeling the baby. I asked the midwife and she said only really from 16 weeks, but it's not impossible to feel movement earlier if you had kids before.

Well girls, I had my scan on Saturday at exactly 12 weeks, baby was measuring 12 weeks, 2 days. Very busy and was sucking his / her hands all the time. Too cute. My MIL is convinced that it's a boy as she saw something on the scan. Maryka wanted to know if she should tell us her prediction and I said NO - it's gonna be a surprised, so she said OK, but she's writing it down in her book so we will see if she was right once baby is born. She did all the measurements for downs, but all seems fine and then I went for bloods just to confirm. Will get results this week. Also went for bloods to test my iron and by law apparently they have to test for HIV. Veronica (midwife) seems very sweet. I got a big fright when she couldn't pick up a heart beat with her little machine, but luckily went to see Maryka straight after that and all was fine. Oh and instead of being impressed with me exercising, Veronica told me that this is not the time to get fit and that I must take it slowly - argh man! OK I must admit my arms were so sore from gymming that I could hardly move them! So ya all seems 100%. We've got a list of boys names - about 7 and if it's a girl, definately Kelly. Sometimes when I like a name and go check the meaning, I'm shocked to think that someone has actually named their child that .

So I've been thinking I need to get a boys and girls 'first outfit' to take with when baby's been born. And then I can just give the 'wrong' outfit so someone else at a babyshower or something .

Tazzy - Thanks for the feedback! I don't think I could start buying nappies yet without feeling like I am jinxing things! I was hoping that there would be secret info on how to choose your pram etc! I am so clueless. I don't even have a sister or brother with a baby to get that kind of info. MMMmmm not really good with decisions when I feel I don't have info ..... the fun awaits I guess!

Meemo - Happy Birthday for yesterday, hope you were very spoilt

AFM - Feel like I am moaning the whole time but feeling so k@k is really getting me down. Yesterday I was feeling so dizzy and I fell on the stairs, luckily going up! I did wrench my tummy and back but I think it is fine now - got a big fright though. GGgrrrr I really had visions of being radiant and serene during pregnancy - damn fantasies!

Lucy - I went to the baby expo on Friday. I really thought they would have had more stands though. But my LG really enjoyed the Barney show.
They also had a mini Baby city shop set up with awesome specials. Pampers Premium care No.1s (78 in a pack) for only R99. They usually sell for R159

Yesterday I just felt so fat! We went to my SIL for lunch and just couldnt find anything that fitted comfy. Its alright to stand in my jeans, they still button fine. But sitting down is really uncomfy.
Im finding it really hard to suck my tummy in now.

last night while lying on the couch, I was certain I could feel the baby moving. I know what it feels like from being preg before. Its almost like you got a twich. I wonder if this could be or if Im imagining things.

Vix - I agree, it does kind of separate us, I do sneak onto the jan/ feb thread sometimes to learn from you girls ..... and give me hope that things get better!! LOL!!
