Ok so far the eating plan is going good. Ive had this thing since I fell preggie that Im constantly hungry so not nibbling whole day long is going to be an issue at first But at least she put in snacks every 2 or so hours!

Meags, I was thinking now.. I remember having the most horrible cramps between 5 and 7 weeks with my first pregnancy. But then again they were not really AF cramps more like stomach cramps/winds. They were really bad and sometimes I couldnt even stand or lie straight. I was worried about them but kept reading it was normal? They went away before my 8wk scan. This time I dont have them at all!

Cath, sorry that you were sick Its such a horrible feeling to have ms and you cant describe it to anyone! But like you said, atleast it gives you some comfort that things are still progressing

Hi Ladies
Well, (TMI) I got sick for first time this morning. It was horrible but I was also pleased cause all the books say it's a good sign - although NOT essential!! For this pregnancy I'd just like to be part of the 70% 'norm' group not the exception! LOL! My boobs are MASSIVE my tiredness IS better (only today we went away for wkend to trout farm and all I did was sleep and eat it was pretty depressing! )
So hoping I'm going to be on the up not having ANY energy is so hard work wise and homelife wise! My dh has been so amazing even goes up to sleep with me at 8pm some nights!!
Hope all you ladies are feeling good. My next scan at 10 wks I don't mind waiting doing the first scan and hearing the heartbeat REALLY gave me a alot of peacefulness altough I KNOW nothing is certain ever!

hi ladies

well, i am not feeling good at all
yesterday we were in the car 5 hours which killed me. i was cramping and was exhausted. last night had a SMALL amount of light brown discharge when I wiped and now nothing. guess it could be old implantation blood but I am so paranoid. having these cramps is making me think the worst and i am desperate to just go home now.
we leave tomorrow night and arrive wednesday lunch time. dreading the long flight
gonna try get someone at work to do a sonar for me to check everything is ok. having bloods again today.

my boobs are hard!! and I think my tummy has grown too. i cant close my jeans?! I havent put on any weight, but tummy seems bigger which is impossible seeing i'm only 5 weeks

oh yes, worked out I HAVE to be 5 weeks...so just going with that

Joli, I just always giggle at your girls' bright little comments and things! Especially the youngest little one How fun are kids hey ?

My sister is also having her daughters party on the 8th Aug. She is turning 5 and insists on a mermaid party, unfortuanetly still too cold to swim etc but were gonna dress them up etc. The germany theme is going to be fun! You can make them *fake* beer lol

I also looked at my tummy yesterday and was thinking that it looks mighty big! But then thinking for a while made be doubt it since I know Im bloated from the progesterone and also I am a few kg's over But they do say you show faster with your second so maybe its not all bloaty and fat!

Starting today on my new eating plan.. very excited

Who is going for scans this week???? And when are we getting some new mommies???

So jealous of all the scans - can't wait for mine now - 2 weeks to go only.

LOL Kimika re the wee story - I think taking your wee with is a great idea!

No cravings or nothing from me yet, I just can't handle this tiredness. It's hectic. And I know this is going to sound stupid, but I'm already getter bigger!! I put a t-shirt on yesterday and it was tight around my tummy . Will have to go to gym this week EVERYDAY!! I haven't told my boss yet, so I can's have a boep too early!

Kimika - I haven't done a FA with either of my girls. With Kayla I just went for a scan at 11 weeks, then again at 20 weeks (full scan at a sonographer) and again at 29 weeks (3D). With Megan just went to a normal gynae and then to midwives. We did bloods for Downs with Megan. I think that's all I will do with this baby as well. I'm going the midwife route, so won't be seeing a gynae really. I'm going to try and save my medical savings as having 3 kids on my medical aid is going to be hectic.

I did 2 newborn shoots over the weekend. Sjoe, I was kapoet after those shoots! Each shoot was 3 - 4 hours long, but I got some awesome pics. Will come share soon.

I must start planning my daughter's party this week. It's on 8 August and I didn't do NOTHING as yet! I'm just too lazy. And to top it all - she wants a GERMANY party! Can you believe it? She's soccer crazy and loves Germany. What happened to ponies or fairies or princesses huh??

One last thing - the girls were in the bath last night and Megan sat in an ice cream tub (her boat) and sat between Kayla's legs and held onto Kayla's toes and rowed her boat and then she started singing (remember she is 2 so not sure where she gets her stuff from) - ROW, ROW, STINKY TOES!! And now I can't get this out my head!

So how's all the preggie fairies? I wonder whether we will have any twin mommies in our group.

Tazzy, I was also wondering why she didnt do an internal? Could it be because its 2nd pregnancy?? I even trimmed the jungle .. hehe

I also had some pains in my sides today, they feel like stabbing ovulation pains I had to sit down for a while and they went away.

Im sure you will see the heartbeat next week! Ask him about the cyclogest, if you can have a test to check whether you need it? She didnt test me again but she did check that corpus luteum thingie and it was also big in comparison to the baby. She said it cant do any harm. It just makes you bloated Also Im sure some of the nausea is linked to them!

Ok I know its early but has anyone booked their Fetal Assesement visits yet? Does your gynae require that? Last time she sent me to Pta East to have it done and it costs a lot! So this time hubby and I decided were not doing it.. just honestly cant afford it So when we told her this she said that since I had my baby she has done the whole qualification to do the assesement herself yippee! So she will only be charging us normal consult fees
