AFM - Doing alright today. A little crampy but not to bad. I cant wait to see gynae on tuesday again. We should see a heartbeat then, im sure?
He always does internals up till 12 weeks.
But I was thinking of asking him if I can take cyclogest just to be safe. Is there any harm in taking it if you dont need it?

Ag shame man Meags I really hope you get relief soon! Why not try take Panado or Tylenol or something to atleast ease off some of the pain? It will still be there but you wont feel so miserable Thinking of you xxx

O I wanted to tell you about my *duh* moment yesterday lol.. Ok so I had a cup of tea just before leaving to gynae, which from Rustenburg at the moment is an hour and half trip. So getting there my bladder is bursting! I ask the nurse lady if I cant go pee in the cup solong since Ive got the pee now. She says no I have to scan with full bladder anyway so I hold out. Go for scan and then straight to go pee in the cup since with the pressure from the scan Im really bursting now! I sit down and pee and it feels sooooo good that by the time I get up and wash my hands I realise I never peeed!!!! So I go sit again but there is NOTHING left So I have to go out and tell the lady that after almost begging her to pee Ive just forgotten! hehe.. I had to go to dietician so went to gynae afterwards to go pee again but I could only manage a few drops.. I felt so stupid

Ladies, this pain is not going away and I AM FED UP. I just want to come back home and be in my own environment. I am so sore and uncomfortable and look miserable all the time (beacause i am) and just dont know what to do anymore

Ill update you on my scan first. Ok sorry for not posting a piccie, the scan photo she gave me is so fuzzy and unclear that there is really no use to show it

Baby is doing fine, saw the yolksac and also the sac around baby bean. Heartbeat was great 180bpm. Baby measured 17.1mm and 8wks 1 day. She didnt do internal scan, which she did with my son, dont know why? Not that Im complaining! heeh She is very happy but said she would rather be safe and keep me on the cyclogest until 12wks I asked her if she thinks its really that necessary and she said if you dont take it youll only find out if it was necessary once its too late, so that def answers my question!! So another 4wks it is!!!

Dietician appointment also went well. She said she will help me to try and not gain too much and that I might not end over 70kg! Im so excited and Ill be seeing her in 2wks time to adjust my eating plan a bit.

Ok enough about me

Meags, great count.. wow youre really rockingly fertile and healthy And atleast now you have had a scan and can confirm age of baby! let us know what the urine test says! Seems like the french are not very good at listening hey And if I would calculate your due date (and Im def no expert!) I would say if you ovulated 3wks ago and you conceived baby then (and you sound quite sure about that) then to correct the math just add 2wks as they normally do, so your 5wks and gives you a due date of either end March or begin April. Exactly what my son was! Good luck for the April fool baby there!!

Joli, I also felt not much in the line of *bonding* yet, but I must say after todays scan I already feel more in touch with the little one. I know it will get better over time. And cograts on the new car!! thats great

Sue, dont worry too much dear. Even with a internal at 6wks you cant always hear the heartbeat. Thats why my gynae only book you for scan after 8wks, it just causes too much stress if you didnt confirm heartbeat. But seeing the sac is already great news!! xxx

Sue - I havent had any sharp pains. But when I sneeze or jump up too quickly I get a pulling pain that lasts a few seconds. It almost feels like a muscle thats pulling.
