ps hey tazzy No william wasn't admitted thank God he had a runny tummy for 2 days so we took him to doc. He didn't really have a temp but by the time we took him to doc on sun he had a slight temp. By tues he was perfect thank God!

Agh Joli I am also in the flipping private route can't believe it's so much AGAIN and what's the point if the lo's feel sick ( I was told privte had less side effects what a waste! ) Callum's weight gain is awesome hey and purely through your breastfeeding is verrrry impressive! Meags you too well done on Matt's gaining!!! Ja it is true about having to take microval at the same time (be careful I was SOO HUNGRY on it Kimika experienced this too and I put on 3 kilos!! But am now back on Jasmin cause am not bf'ing anymore. Lord God if I fell pregnant again before losing some weight I'd just die! LOL!
Betty you are a trooper good luck with the gynae today and don't be afraid to speak your mind!!!
W is still sleepnig sooo nicely (fed at 7.30pm then played and slept from 21h30 ish til 2h30 again!) YAY! He is such a champ! Lucy how cute are those photos, Schatise I'll go check yours out now!
Otherwise all well 7 ish weeks left of ML where did the time go?!

Hi All. Sorry don't have time for too many personals - got too much work to do and I'm also busy setting up my little shop in my studio selling Acorn products, pettiskirts, huggalugs, beanies and books etc. etc. And then need to get someone to put up a door in the studio for me and paint etc. etc. And then got editing to do, kids to take to swimming lessons, breastfeeding etc. etc. etc.

Rikki - thx for the mail on the nappies. I've ordered 4 and now waiting for them !

Meags - thx for the tip on squirting the meds in the cheek! Callum normally spits out anything I put in his mouth, so I tried this yesterday after his jabs - he was so feverish - shame!

Betty - can't wait for an update from you!

I am also so excited for Des - shame she went through so much to have Connor and now this - really amazing. Kimika I agree - I often felt down with my pregnancy with Callum - bringing a 3rd child unplanned into the world is not easy, nevermind a 4th. I think I die a thousand deads if I must fall pregnant now!

Callum now weights 4.8kg. The nurse was very surprised that I am only breastfeeding, so I did feel good there for a moment he he. Ya, ya I know, but it's quite an achievement for me he he.

Well - I called a couple of clinics, but the private vaccines I've started on can't be changed. How annoying. Am I the only fool that is paying for these private vaccines?????????????? Gosh it's expensive. Next one will be R1400 again.

Betty I had the massage at 38 weeks 5 days. About 2-3 hours after it I started getting strong and frequent BH. They lasted about 3 hours and I was so excited as I thought labour was starting. But they stopped think if my body was ready- the massage would have worked. Was scheduled for another massage the following week but went into labour the day before!

As for stretch and sweep-does your gynae do an internal? He will need to assess the cervix. If it has started to soften or dilate, stretch and sweep can bring on labour. He will insert his finger into the cervix, stretch it and then try sweep the membranes away from the cervix which helps release prostaglandins and therefore start labour. But if cervix is tightly closed, posterior and hard-not sure its worth even trying and I can imagine it'll be sore for him to try get a finger into a closed cervix!

I have been to Madam Zingara in CT, it must be the same- in the tent with the acts by the zip zap circus? I thoroughly enjoyed it. It started off as a restaurant in CT, which burnt down.
Glad you are getting a nice routine with W- sleeping so well that you have to wake him for a feed!

Thinking of going for a trigger point massage, does anyone know of anyone who does this kind of massage in CT? Meags, can't remember, did it help you with your natural induction?

I was told that once I start the mini pill - I have to use condoms for the first month. Were you ladies told that??

Also, make sure you dont skip any or take any late...my midwife said it's such a light pill that it is very important to take same time every day and not miss any. I am only starting it tomorrow. was too lazy to go get it today. and something bizarre. When you take a prescription to the pharmacy, they dont just give you your medicine. they tell you to come back anything from 1-4 hours later!!!!! weird hey?

saw the paed. Matt has gained 500g in the last 2 weeks. he now weighs 4.2kg. He drinks 150ml EBM now. I usually get him to drink around 120ml then he has like a 30 minute rest then I make him drink the last 30ml. I told the paed I stopped the cereal since it was making Matt vomit. He said it's fine as long as he is gaining weight and not having any visible vomitting. Our next visit is in 2 weeks and thats when the vaccinations start my poor tot.
Saw both of the chiro's today...the one who doesnt manipulate and the one who does. seeing them both on Friday too. that one who doesnt manipulate I feel is a waste of money...but we have paid for the month already so may as well go. not like its too much for Matt to handle since only one of them does their job properly!!

I am so excited for Des I babysat for her when I still lived in SA so I knew her sad fertility story. Cant believe she is 23 weeks already and didnt know!!!!!!!!!! Wonder if she gained any weight or anything?!

Tazzy, Im on Microval, also mini pill and I also noticed some EWCM a few days after taking them and then had about 2-3days of spotting. After the EWCM I thought I had thrush again but I think maybe its just normal?

Ok so now Im also freaked out a bit.. its prob my worst fear to fall preggie now or anywhere in the near future (next 4yrs!!!!) Having a second child as a oopsie is ok but a 3rd or 4th is just *jikes*. So I asked my gynae and she said as soon as breastfeeding is established I can go over to Jasmin. But when is that?? If you go onto it too soon it can reduce the milk production. I really dont want a Mirena, that freaks me out too.. to have somthing *inserted* that stays there..
