Cath- how is William doing? The LO's get dehydrated so quickly. Hope he is on the mend and feeling better.

Schatsie- the pics of Arno (and Mom and Dad) are beautiful. I had to postpone our photoshoot which is scheduled for. 5 May as we have no baby yet
We took M for a shoot when he was about 6 months old. The shoot took about 45 mins, not sure what the norm is for a new born. But she got lovely pictures in 20mins.
Not sure I would have the 4 hour patience...

Joli- not got the beanies yet, will post pics when I do get them! I hate to admit it, but I have never gone for a flu vaccine.

Meags- how was lunch? Is the colic calm working yet? How are you coping? Glad you are getting a bit more rest. Are you still pumping at night?

Emsmom - well done on the shopping! How wonderful to have such a relaxed baby! Good luck with the medical aid- ridiculous that they don't want to pay

Mistymon- great to hear that you and baby are doing so well. Your birth experience sounds fantastic! Pleasing to hear that the staff at MMC were wonderful... Gives me light - I had a bad experience there last time and could not wait to get out of there.. Although M was born on the weekend and all the staff appeared to be on some kind of contact or sourced in through an agency.
We also got the box of goodies when we left- very nice as you don't have to cook or think about making food when you get home

Lucy - glad things are going better with T! Hope you can get more rest now!

No signs of baby- although I have had slight discomfort in my lower back - so I guess will see what gynae says on Thursday.

Joli- oh dear jab time again. Seems to have come around very fast. I still have that joy awaiting me this week. I have never had the flu jab. I get sick very rarely.

Schatsie that seems very short. Nice advice from Joli to in again at 8 months!

Rakker oh my word. Sorry about the hectic bleeding. Cytotec can give hectic cramps, did they give something for that? Like buscopan?

Misty well come back and to the mommy world. Ryan is a cutie pie. Glad you had a good visit with your sister.

Emsmom thanks for the info on the rash. I figured it was normal but it is nice to know why and how long? Man you put me to shame with all your galavanting! I did a birthday party on my own on saturday and thought I was super clever! Shopping centre - eish!

Well looks like we have broken the back of this pain thing. Hope p am not counting my chickens....:-D

Oh yes Joli - re flu vac I had one nd have on eevery year....no flu side effects this year and cant remmeber when lst got flu!

Betty - The staff where just fantastic at MMC! Really i was so impressed, felt like i was in a hotel! On discharge day they even gave us supper to take home all packed up nicely (not sure if this is the norm, but it was a lovely touch!).

Meags - thank you fo rposting the pics and keeping girls updated! LOL...just had to laugh at your fridge!

wow so so so much to catch up on! I feel so bad that I have been missing for a week, but with my sister here I really just HAD TO spend all my free time (which as I am sure all of you know is minimal) with her!

I am still on cloud nine...not sure when or if I will ever come down!
Have so much to tell, but just wanted to say hi, post a few pics and write up my birth story before i forget (as if!).

Have a gynae appointment tomorrow (think it is to take out staples?) and then we off to pead for the first week check up (at least they are both at the hospital!)

I am feeling great....recovering fine from c section, hardly any pain at all, minimal bleeding and only thing that hurst is my staples when I laugh!

Willl hopefully have more time for mommy now as so much to share, so much to ask and just love been here.

Personals etc will catch up soon but it was great to catch up on 10 pages of news (now need to catch up on 10 hours of sleeping)!

JOLI, big brother is very proud and just wants to hold his new sister . He is more difficult, though, but I can still manage him...

Another 2 blood clots and streams of blood today . Gynae standing in for my gynae prescribed cytotec (sp?) to make the uterus contract more and tomorrow I see my own gynae, thank goodness. She will probably also suggest D&C, but at least she will do it then and not the gynae standing in for her. Will know tomorrow what's going on as I haven't physically seen a gynae yet. Tonight I'm sleeping on linnen savers again .

Anje, wanted to say I am so glad I didn't have a stretched out birth experience like you and the issues with the epidural etc. I can understand that you have been scarce here as you had to recover from that.
