WHAT TO PACK FOR THE HOSPITAL FOR A C-SECTION

Please can i ask how many towels do you need to take to hosp?

The nurses only came to clean me down there, and the thought of it is really not nice but once you clean again you feel so much better.

And after day 1 the nurses seem to fanish they then just pretty much leave you alone, so its just the fisrt day thats bad.

Those disposable panties were VERY comfortable and dont put any pressure on your wound which is great.

Remember the head phones else you will have to pay R40.00 a set.

Take your cell charger, camera and spare batteries because those will DEFINATELY be needed.

Also, remember to take your maternity bra's.

They really do keep you busy... you have your baby to worry about, them the visitors that come to see the baby, then the nurses want to take your blood pressure, then they need to take your temp, then they there for your meds, then the pead shows up, then the dr, then the anethetist... you are just so busy the whole time theres no time to sweat the small stuff

And just tell them to go away nicely if you don't feel like being cleaned at that moment - they can always come back and just do it as routine.

It's not like you get very dirty lying there???

I just remained in the hospital gown until the next morning to save my pj's.

i Felt the exact same way about the c - section and the procedures - but honestly once you are there you don't care and while they are busy putting in the catheter or cleaning you or whatever - YOU COULD NOT CARE LESS because you just had a baby and that distract you completely.
Really not bad at all.
