I am truly truly not looking forward to this at all.

Some snacks (protein bars etc) and bottles of water - hosp food sucks and they never give you enough to drink!

It's nice to pack a spare shirt and roll-on etc for hubby too

It is just a general list or stuff you need to buy?

Theres ALOT of blood so you would spoil your new pj's. and the nurses come to clean you every few hours and it much easier when you not wearing anything. And the you still have the catheter in. But dont worry it wont bother you in the least you will be so busy with the baby you forget about everything else.

You cant wear undies because of the catheter - they only remove this the next morning.
They put x 2 pads between your legs and give you a linen saver to lie on - so don't worry is you mess.

Tivania mediclinic charge them to your hospital account which is covered by medical aid.

Don't know what they cost now. they were 25 for two when Dylan arrived.

You will have a catheter possibly over night anyway so you can't wear panites.

It looks like a nappy for adults but soooo comfortable. The elastic around the waist goes far above the bellybutton and this is really comfortable for the scar.

I was sad when mine was finished as they were really comfortable and also very absorbent for the blood flow.

Julz what do those carriwell panties cost? They look nice and firm. Also I am having my baby at a mediclinic, are the linen savers free or should I just buy them?
