WHAT TO PACK FOR THE HOSPITAL FOR A C-SECTION

Linen savers!!! some hospitals do supply there own and others not.

Disposable panties... its just much easier to chuck them away. Dis chem sell them for R15 for a pack of 3.

Slippers but I prefer slip slops as my feet became very swollen.

cool pj's as the maternity wards are really warm.

Gown.

I am not sure if this has been discussed before but I cant recall the answers so have to ask again.

We want to start buying our baby's clothes before his arrival in November and I need to know what is crucial to have to take to the hospital. I know very often the hospitals ask for unnecessary stuff but I want to make sure I am 100% prepared as I am having a c-section and buying every single thing from scratch.

Also for me I have listed:

lots of sanitary pads; PJ's; change of clothes to leave hospital in; toiletries (soap/toothpaste etc); breast pads and perhaps a book to read.

Have I missed anything out?
