So you are not going home for confinement Googlebug? My mum wants me to stay the full 40 days, my hubby thinks a week is long enough! Lol. Sadly Champers my pregnancy's being mostly vomiting, every trimester, mostly in the wee hours of the morning:(

Thank you Champers, GML, and Googlebug:) I've just turned 28, I am a clinical psychologist, and expecting my first baby, a little boy Hubby and I met last year August, knew by the 3rd date this is it, were engaged a month later, married 4 months later, and pregnant 3 weeks later (this last part wasn't planned) 30th November with Durban's heat and humidity seems very far away is any1 else 37 weeks this week?

My mom said I changed so much when she saw me this weekend. She says when such drastic change occurs it means the baby is coming soon. I hope so.

GML, don't worry, I will still be around by the time December comes (I think). My due date is still set for around 12 December.

Champers, I agree, having MIL there so soon might not be ideal. Hope you convince her to stay by your parents. I have accepted the fact that we will have tons of guests after the baby is born, but at least not staying with us so that is fine. My mother wanted me to stay with her after the baby is born (which is the norm in muslim families) but it just seems like too much work to cart all the baby stuff to her house. She's a couple of streets away from us anyway, which helps a lot knowing theres help close by if need be.

Anyway, enjoy your day everyone. Time to do some work....
