Hi all fellow moomies!!

Oh Champers, what a big scare - hope you are feeling much better and doing fine now.

Seems like most of us are in the same boat nowadays - feeling tired and just offish. ... Third trimester, I guess!

We're busy with a huge school health week, where we assess grade 1's and R's for any health related problems and do referrals. Not nice.... Today 2 of us saw almost 200 kids, by tonight, I'm feeling like just curling up and sleeeeeeping! And there are 4 more days to go! Oi.

My husband and I did the Amatola hiking trail 5 years ago, and I had a nasty fall, injuring my lower back. It healed well, but for the last 2 weeks I've been feeling the same pain returning... Hope it doesn't have too much influence later on, especially with giving birth and so on.....

Well ladies, hope you all have a good evening, will chat again soon.

PS.. Just a question - would you recommend leaving your baby with your mother rather than a daycare??? Have to make the choice soon!! I know that my mom will look after baby extremely well, playing and stimulating like I would, but on the other hand.... Will it not be a bit unfair towards my mom, being a caretaker instead of a grandma???

Apparently the valium is safe for the baby, yes. Well thats what the doctor told me.

My doc has moved my appointment to tomorrow morning at 10.

I was taking it VERY easy. Thats what the whole weekend was about.

The doc at the ER felt the baby and listened to his heartbeat. They weren't concerned.

I'll let you know what he says tomorrow... Thanks for all the hugs girls. I was scared for Ty but when I felt him, he kicked to let me know he is ok. I'm feeling very shaking still...

Oh Champers- Belly rubs to you

This comes to show that one can never be prepared. Anything can happen at any point.

I think we all need to have our hospital bags packed and in the car just in case.

You need to take it easy from now on.

This valium they gave you is it safe for the baby? I'm so worried

OMG Champers

Glad to hear you're ok. Any idea what the cause is?

I think the temperature is too high these days. There are days when I feel like I'm going to collapse.

So your gynae is not going to see you even though you passed out? I would think that is an emergency. He should have told you to come in immediately..

I can just imagine how scary that must have been for you even worse your hubby. Did they check the baby?

Had a lovely weekend away... Chilled and away from everything.

Driving home, I was starting to feel sick. I was feel really faint too. Told hubby to pull over because I was going to faint. He pulled over and I threw up, all over my leg and his feet. We carried on...

I was feeling faint again and told him to pull over again. I couldn't see... Like I was blind. That the last I remember. He said that my pupils were dilated and I was convulsing. He was worried about me swallowing my tongue because he could hear it was at the back of my throat so he stuck his fingers in to grab it. I came round with him slapping me in the face and shouting stay with me.

We drove to the closest hospital. BP and sugars were normal. Heart rate was high. Doc said that I had an epileptic fit and that sometimes pregnant women get them. They gave me two valium and sent me on my way.

Doc has no free appointments so I cant see him before my app on Thurs.

Very very scary...
