Hi ladies....

It seems like a few of us have been having health issues of late.

Champers, that sounds like one scary experience! And poor Maryke, really hope she is okay.

GML, you should check with your gynae whether the weight loss is a problem. I still weight more or less what I did before I was pregnant (I lost all that weight at the beginning and have pretty much just gained that back).

As for me, i have severe gastro- been off from work since yesterday and never even went to the doctor until today since I wouldn't have even managed the car trip to the doctor yesterday. Doctor gave me some tablets for vomiting and diarrhoea and some rehydrate sachets. I hope this goes away soon since I haven't had anything but energade and one ginger biscuit since yesterday.

Will update you guys on antenatal classes soon, for now I'm a bit drowsy from those drugs...

Miksmommy I am going for my 4d this coming Saturday...

GML @ I really don't think you need to worry... I've heard of people losing weigh while pregnant... As long as baby is healthy and growing, I'm sure everything is fine!

Have you got your list electronically? Would you mind sharing it with us?

According to my list (YES, I HAVE A LIST )
I will pack 4 baby grows and 2 beanies. I asked my MIL to bring 2 extra going home clothes for baby when she visits in hospital. she has mentioned that she wants to be told when we go to hospital. She really wants to be there.

We receive a hospital bag upon admission and we just need to top it up with nappies etc.

I think I'll be spending the same number of nights as you Champers.

Champers... i'll take 5/6 I think... can always take them home again! I would rather want to be prepared? please post us some pics of your babyshower on Monday! exciting stuff!!! hope you get lots of pressies.. LOL

GML - I have no idea why the dr wants to do the tests... I think it might be because of my reoccurring UTI? and i've gained quite a bit of weight? I am really not even eating a lot or any differently than usual.... Will see what happens on Thursday... my dr doesn't do glucose tests as a routine test.

Was not in yesterday, my helper went home to KZN and was only able to return yesterday which meant I had to stay home and look after my LG..

Champers what a scary experience that is, glad it is not epilepsy like th Gp originally said..Take is easy now and do not do anything trenuous.

Vix thanks for the feedback on Maryke, poor thingsm just one thing after the other..

On the bra size, I think two sizes bigger should do the trick..

I am so with you guys on all the moaning, the heat just got the better of me, can't take it..

Googlebug, my bag was actually in a perfect condition.. Why not call them and ask if you can get a replacement?.. I fortunately have only had good experience with Bankmed, but know of people who are on the same page as you..
