GML I have the Avent electrical sterilizer and you can basically fit any bottle into it, it may not fit perfcetly into the holder but as long as they can fit it, it serves the same purpose..On the breast pump that is a different story altogether, the bottle fits into the pump so there unfortunately you will need the avent breast pump....

Miksmommy my last day is the 19th Nov, it allows me one weeks to rest and prepare before I go in for my c section which is end November.

The breast pump I would say definitely buy the Avent one because the bottles screw into the bottom of the pump.

Most kids prefer NUK dummies to Avent, so dont buy a whole lot of dummies until after baby is born.

I have been thinking about feeding.

I want to breastfeed and would also like to bottle feed expressed milk so that daddy can have time to feed as well. I will breast feed exclusively for at least a month then express to avoid nipple confusion

I had to choose between Nuk and Avent bottles.Hubby decided on Avent. So we are going with Avent.

My question is do I have to buy an Avent bottle warmer, sterilizer, adn pump? Avent is expensive and hubby doesnt mind but I feel it's not necessary.

Can I not buy avent bottles and maybe use different brands for other things. Like a Nuk breast pump, snookums bottle warmer etc?

Will the sterilizer and bottle warmer take different kinds of bottles? What do you ladies think? The Nuk breast pump is cheaper than the Avent etc

Well it's official, I am having my 4d re done next Saturday the 9th, can't wait!...Having it done through peek a babe...

GML my gums are also rather sensitive, especially on the right side of my mouth.

Googlebug are you with bankmed?, I also received a nice hospital bag from them in the week, I normally buy the mother and babies pack but will just top it up with what is missing which is actually mostly just baby's things...

Guys I can relate to well to all the moans and groans, not much longer. I can't believe I can officially say I am finishing off next month, puts a smile on my face.

Morning Ladies

I feel better today. I slept for a couple of hours but kept waking up every now and then. It feels much better today but I'm afraid the pain is going to start again. Can you believe that I called more than 6 dentists yesterday and they were all fully booked till later this month?

Champers- enjoy your break. God knows us pregnant women need it. I love the name you've chosen.

Miks- I know how you feel about work. I'm really not in the mood because according to my bosses I'm exaggerating the aches and pains I feel.

Anyway, this weekend I have to try and get something to wear for graduation next Friday.

GML, I don't know what to say hon... I must say that my mouth is a lot more sensitive when I floss but I use Listerine mouth wash twice a day as well which I'm sure helps.

My back is SOOOO sore.

I am also getting so sick of coming into CT every week for my hubby's work. I just want to stay home. As it is, we drive into CT early Monday AM and then home Wed PM. I'm staying home next week and then driving through Friday for my babyshower on Saturday. I need some time at home to catch up with washing and ironing. I also want some time to see my horse.

Tomorrow morning we are off to the Cedarberg so I hope you all have lovely weekends. Its a great place with a jacuzzi on the patio (which I will only be able to put my feet in).

I can feel that our baby has grown overnight. He feels HUGE. My boobs have grown overnight as well. They are massive. I'm in a D cup and they are literally spilling out! Looks like I am wearing a wonder bra!

And I am going reveal our baby boy's name... We are calling him Ty.
