GML, it was 2 tablets I got not an injection. He said that it would cause no ill effects.

How many baby grows are you guys going to take to hospital? Normal birth I will be there 2 nights and 3 for c sec. I think I'll pack 5 or 6 in and if more are needed, hubby can bring. Have you guys also been told to take a beenie for the baby for when s/he is born?

GML, I DEFINITELY have not lost weight. I'm now 69kgs and started on 59kg.

Miks- I have lost weight and I'm worried now. My glucose test came back ok. Why would you gynae say that unless there is something he saw etc?

was just chatting to MarykeD on FB, she was released from hospital on friday and re admitted on Monday with Bronchitis! poor thing!

Over 2kgs? That is big. I'm thinking I'm along the same lines as you. It's exciting isnt it?

The midwife at the antenatal classes said that once baby is 2kgs and above, there isnt really a need to keep them in NICU. They will obviously keep them there for a while to monitor them but it's not as long as it would smaller babies. That is amazing.

gml i have definitely not lost weight.... i keep on gaining I'm having a glucose test done on Thursday... the dr is a bit worried that I might have gestational diabetes. (dont know if I have mentioned this?)

I wonder how mutha2b is settling in?

So apparently it is something called a Vagal Response which is basically a bad fainting episode. The other doc was talking through his bum, it wasn't a fit.

Baby is ok, I'm ok. Only advice is what we all know when feeling faint, lie down, feet above head level and lots of fresh air.

I'm really tired now. Cannot stand the 2am wake periods.

Have any of you ladies lost weight? I have lost 3 kilos. I had gained 8kgs in total and at my last appointment I lost 3kilos. I even used my own scale to confirm it.

barbs- I would say if Granny has no problem playing care taker then it should be ok. We're still trying to figure out how we're going to go about it as well.

Has anyone heard from Maryke yet?
