Yay, this site isn't blocked as porn anymore I was really struggling with the phone blogging thing, I kept tuping these long responses only for them to disappear into thin air (and GML, that was with Opera Mini). The site still seems to have some errors though.

Miksmummy, hope all is well with your test results, maybe they only call if something is wrong i.e. no news is good news. I haven't worried about baby being too quiet yet- mine seems to be active most of the time, especially in the evenings. I'm actually starting to worry about whether this means I will have a super-hyperactive baby once it is born.

Champers, those are nice prams, we also considered them, but i was a bit worried about fitting it into my car with those big wheels.Hope you enjoyed your evening out. and hope that the nausea stops soon for both of us. Mine is definitely worse when I take vitamins though (it doesn't matter what brand, I think I've tried four or five), so I only take them every two or three days.

AFM not much happening... baby is a busy little monkey! Still waiting for the stupid dr to call me....

On Friday and Saturday baby was SOOOOO quiet. I got so worried. I drank my first cup of coffee since being preggers. He was moving but was very quiet. He seems to be getting better now, moving more and more.

I bought a pram today!!! Got it from Baby Boom. Got the Chelino 3 wheel jogger. They have it on special at the moment. R200 cheaper than usual.

Miksmommy, I hope your blood results come back with positive results

Googlebug, I am also still throwing up. I feel for you...

GML, I am also feeling unsettled not buying stuff yet but I'm starting now. I'm waiting on clothes etc but I'm buying the big things. We are only starting the painting next weekend so then I think I will feel a little more settled. Maybe you can start prepping your baby room?

I have my 26 week scan on Friday.

Must go, hubby just called me to fetch him from work. He's taking me to dinner and a movie!

GML @ how did the lobolo negotiations go? Is everything sorted? when is your sister getting married? When is your baby shower? Maybe once hubby sees all the cute baby things he will feel more ready to go shopping? And you will have a better idea after your shower as to what you still need....

Where is everyone else??

AFM had a nice weekend, just relaxing at home. I did my 24h urine test and some other blood tests this morning, hoping that i will get my results in the next day or 2 and that everything will be just prefect!

I find that baby is very quiet during the day... sometimes it freaks me out so that i drink coffee/juice just to wake him up. Does this happen to anyone else?

Good morning ladies. Haven't been able to log in for a few days because of the problems with the site- apparently the site was hacked causing all the issues. My workplace seems to have blocked the site completely. Seems like i've missed a lot. Welcome to barb, hope u enjoy it here. Happy belated birthday to champers, hope u had a wonderful day! Thanks for sharing the antenatal stuff with us, good to know. I will start classes at the beginning of october, three monday evenings in a row. GML, how did the lobola nagotiations go? Mutha2b, have the pains stopped? Hope ur feeling better.AFM, all is well, except i've been puking nonstop again. Ugh. Have a dr's appointment saturday, hope to finally find out if its a boy or girl. We've started buying a couple of baby clothes items, not a lot. And we bought a three pack of tommy tippee bottles, will see if baby seems to like it before buying more...

Am I glad this site is back up and running. How was the weekend Ladies? Mine was just ok. My sisters Lobolo was being negotiated so I was on my feet the whole of Saturday preparing food etc. Otherwise I had my feet up the whole of Sunday.

Champers- very informative hey. I also think a walking epidural is the way to go. Now, I cant wait to start with my classes. Happy belated Birthday. Hope you had a blast...

Miks- I heard about those. I will see how it goes.

We havent started shopping yet. Hubby is very reluctant to buy. I think his mum maybe influencing him. Simply because I mentioned how we need to start buying whilst we have 2salaries coming in and she commented on how early it was to start buying. So on Sunday morning I asked hubby if we can go to baby boom to check out what they have since we've only been to baby city. He said we know what we want to buy and we will go once we're ready to buy. As to when "we're" going to be ready to buy is beyond me.

GML @ have you looked at those scarf/shawl things you use to cover yourself while breast feeding?? as soon as baby gets the hang of it, its actually quite easy to bf. The first few weeks are hard but then it gets easy and you can literally bf anywhere. I wont even start to tell you half the places i bf Mikayla... LOL The nice things about those coverings are that people dont even realise that you are busy bf...

wooohoooo i'm so happy that its weekend! have any of you been baby shopping yet?? i saw the cutest baby grows at ackermans... and i want to go buy a few so badly but i know once i start shopping i can stop! LOL
