file Anyone else trying for a 2014 baby?

Juno - Sjoe, it is quite pricey, even for a home plan. One doesn't think of all the extras. So glad to hear the follies are growing well! FX!!

Did your Dr's put you on Fertivor supplements in combination with the femara? My Dr instructed me to take it with the clomid (wich I never did) to help thicken the lining and increase cervical mucus. I decided to buy the Fertivor this week and give it a go - without the clomid. It smells horrible! You only take it from Day 1 - 16. So, starting today on CD1 !

Did very well on the Femara - also 3 follies each cycle. No side effects. Lining a lot better than when I was on fertomid.
My lining was never good anyway but the femara didn't effect it. always just managed 9mm on CD14 or 15.

Carmen me too - femara generic letrozole 5mg per day at a cost of just under R400.
How did you do on femara?

Hi all
I tested again last night. Still negative, but more relaxed about it being right as I waited the 4 hours.

Juno - 3 is good! What is the dosage of Femara? I too 5mg a day - 2 tabs- so 10 tabs cost me about R800 per month. Don't worry generics are just as good!

Mickymuismommy - looking forward to hear the results.

Nicolette – yes for the home programme, not IUI.

GW yes 1.5k for the scans and consultations, R400 for the Femara generic (I didn’t realise I was taking the generic). The PMB covers the hysteroscopy and then CD3FSH and CD21 progesterone tests. Nothing else. I see that they also didn’t take the hysteroscopy from the PMB and instead out of my hospital plan.

Carmen anything?

Well out of the 5 original follicles 3 have become dominant which the FS is happy about – he was hoping for 2 based on my amh levels. So the hormones are good but as for the egg quality who knows. I go for bloods tomorrow to check my levels.
Ha ha imagine if all 3 were good eggs!

Juno: I pressume the R2000 includes the scan and doctors visit too? That's the expensive part right? Isn't your medical aid suppose to cover this, there was a thread about that recently?

Carmen: Ag, no. That is just confusing. Every now and again a get a clear test that is a very clear positive, other times the OPK's just frustrate the crap out of me! If you can afford, perhaps test again tonight? I have also noticed that it makes a difference if you don't drink lots of water and wait to test without going to the loo for a few hours.
