Anyone else trying for a 2014 baby?

GW - hate it when they rush through the results- FXFX that you get a natural BFP soon.

Well I expect to O on Sat- CD13 - actually anywhere form CD12 to CD16 - but on average it has been CD12 or 13 when I use Inofolic. It has helped to bring O forward and helped with my lining - AF has been more on the normal side- I usually have a very light AF- only 2 to 3 days and somtimes it's more like spotting.

BTW - I read a beautiful article in the latest Living and Loving - a women in her early 30's was suffering form hot flushes, when she went for tests she was in early menopause, her AHM was very low. she sometimes didn't have AF for months. She was not married but in a long distance relationship. When she got AF she let her partner know and he flew in for them tp BD, they conceived naturally. She took 4 Stamigro daily, that is what her DR recommended to her.
Personally did not work for me. But it was a wonderful story of hope and that miracles do happen.

Well am on cd33 still no AF, i will test tomorrow morning, the whole weekend i kept on checking, but there's still hope, until the witch arrives am still in the game

Sjoe, yes, sounds like that polyp could be causing your problems? Good luck with the hysteroscopy, please let us know how it went.

AFM: I got the results of the blood tests my GP ordered. We were in such a hurry when he wrote the blood test form I didn't ask him what he tested for. When he phoned me he was very busy and didn't want to go into details and said that if I want more details I can come and see him, however he said that everything seemed in perfect range. But he didn't test for AHM and progesterone serum...Which is what I wanted to know. He tested FSH and that was normal. He said all that he can think of is that my remaining tube might be blocked or damaged or it could be that I only ovulate from the side without a tube. For now I think we will just try to conceive normally before doing any more tests.

Well I saw the FS today and the visit went FAR better than I expected. He’s actually not worried with my results! I am nearly double what he expected for my age (also misheard so it’s a little higher than I thought – 0.38). He checked my follicles on both ovaries and it’s already looking really good. I’m also going in for a hysteroscopy next week to check out whether what he us seeing is a polyp as this could be the reason why I am not conceiving as it acts like an IUD. I will then go on fertility meds my next cycle as although my scores are good for my age the fact remains that I have low reserves which decreases my chances of catching that “good” egg.

@ Carmen spot on with those sentiments! I wish I could be a more accepting person but as you say it’s so difficult. I can just imagine the pressure you must be under. It becomes so very intense and I had no clue that it had such a wide spread impact on one’s life. Everything else just pales in significance..

@ Strikkie I’m so sorry for you. I must say I do find it quite odd that our doctors have such different views…

@ Jay the worst is knowing that it is coming but still hoping that maybe, just maybe…hope you’re put out of your misery soon..

Am still here, reading all your post, but not in the mood to post. But today i a bit frustrated it's that of the month where i wipe and check if she coming or not, well i am on cd 30, my period is like 28 29 30, so maybe af will here tomorrow, no sign yet, just sore boobs and my boobs are a bit bigger, not sure if i always got that before af. Arg i just want the day to end or AF must just show her face

Strikkie that is such sad news.
I have colleague who decided not to adopt, she is now over 45 and would not consider DE (donor egg). Send Rikki a pm on the topic - she could give you insight)

Nicolette - so true, every cycle is different. One realises this is something you can just not control.
