Just a quick feedback, was for a follow up today but it was Friday the 13th today for me.
Apparently they double book me and another lady today. After 3.5 hours I finally left the doctor’s office. My boss did not think it was funny. At the end we decide to go for a standard ivf. Start end of next week with everything.

Now it starts to get real.

Hi ladies, I usually chat on one of the other forums... also doing IVF a few times, but both failed.

Hope - to increase folicles, have you tried DHEA? It is a schedule 5 Medicine which you take 3 times a day to increase folicles? I usually have about 4, but not all mature, so my FS suggested I take the DHEA for a few months. Not sure if it works... will only try again much later in the year for IVF again. I have heard from other ladies that they believe in it.

A QUESTION to you all:
For the ladies in Cape Town, do you believe in Acupuncture as a part of the fertility programme? Do you think it works and who would you recommend? (pref. someone in the Northern Suburbs)

We have decided to go with the soft ivf, I’m only making one follicle at a time and don’t know if it last all the way to mature. In the past I have been on different meds and different strength. Nether worked. I have read somewhere on a site about soft ivf. Apparently with the soft ivf you make less follicles but the quality is much better. Since this is all new to us we plan to rather go with the soft one.

The doc did talk to us about the pricing, but will find out everything tomorrow when we confirm everything.
