First Fertomid Cycle, New Here

Hi Ladies

I have been ttc for the past year and I joined this site a while ago and Morgan guided me in what tests I should go for if we have not conceived after a while of trying (I am 36).

Well my hubbys SA came back and he has good volume, mobility but so so morphology and I am not ovulating. When I went for my ultrasound on CD13 I had no follicles but had one very small and old one. So my hubbs is on Sperm-I-prove and I am on my 4th pill of Fertomid 50mg.

My gynae said that I have to go for a Progesterone test on CD23 and if I am not pregnant after the first cycle of Fertomid then on the following cycle I will have a ultrasound on CD13 and Progesterone on CD23. If both cycles are unsuccessful then my dosage will be upped to 100mg.

Is the above the same steps you ladies went through? Is it true that one ovulates +- 5-9 days after taking the last pill? So worried that seeing that I am not producing any follicles that the 50mg might not work.

Any info will be highly appreciated

OH Morgan!! Im so sorry Hun... I know how hard it must be. I think perhaps a break is a good thing.. We took 3 months off and it works to help get some sanity back

Miss you and Cynthia too. Really.
At the moment, I just can't be here on Moomie.
We went for IUI on 4 March and it failed. Broke my freaking heart and I just can't do it anymore. Hubby and I decided to give TTC a break. He's worried that I'll snap or something
I posted in other forum about it, sorry for not elaborating more but I just can't. It hurts too much.

Hoping all is well with you and the bean!! Although, he's probably not a bean anymore, maybe a gem squash, huh?
