First Fertomid Cycle, New Here

Hi, girls

I've been at my Ob/Gyn on Thursday, and he said that I'm not ovulating at all - And this at CD 12 in my 28 day Cycle. Cycles relatively regular - between 26 and 28 days each month - with "period" spotting for 1/2 to 1 day only.

We have been trying to conceive for the last 8 months. Hubby went for his sperm analysis last week, which came back normal. Since my appointment with the Gynae, he placed me on Fertomid 100mg from Day 3 to 7 in my new cycle (starting in about two weeks), and then I should come in on CD 10 for a scan to see if the meds are working...

Eish - Don't know what to expect from this. It is my first round on Fertomid.

Going for the Down Syndrome and other tests, this includes some blood tests and a 3d ultrasound. Apparently rather standard, but doing it with a special doctor that specialises in foetuses.

May i ask why ur seeing a foetal specialist? i hope you dont mind me asking. its just that i have to see one too but because my prev pregnancy didnt work out at 20 weeks when the baby had a very rare heart condition.

TCS, so glad your ultrasound went well! I am sure everything will go wonderfully with your next tests!

I had my 10 week ultrasound yesterday, baby was kickboxing, arms and legs moving like a windmill, lol (looks like it'll be a fun third trimester)l! Managed to record the heartbeat on my phone, and am constantly listening to it just to get a smile on my face

Going to fetal specialist 3rd of May (right on 13 weeks), hopefully everything will be fine. Going for 1st trimester bloodwork tomorrow, to check for any blood abnormalities, which hopefully there aren't.

Symptoms...still very sleepy, especially in the afternoons, some pinches and cramps in my pelvis, really sore abs from time to time, mood swings, some very mild nausea but no vomiting, thank goodness.

TCS, what symptoms do you have at the moment?

How is everyone else doing?

just wanted to fill you guys in. Had my Dr's appointment today.
Everything is well and the bean grew very well in the 4 weeks. was bouncing around and turning etc on the scan!! was a beautiful feeling!

seeing the Foetal Specialist in 2 weeks. after that IF all clear then we are good to go...

still nervous but will try to be positive!!!
