I need to take it Day 5 to day 9. Then have to see the gynae on day 12 - I assume to have a scan

You normally calculate your first day of your period as Day 1. Some doctors say to use it from Day 3 to day 7, others only on day 5 to day 9. In your case, you start using fertomid on day 5 of your cycle, with your first day of AF as day 1. I take it at night, to eliminate the nasty side effects, but it's up to you!

Are you having a monitored cycle? Meaning, are you going for a follicle scan mid cycle to see if the meds are working and you are going to ovulate?

DH and I seem to be in disagreement of when exactly to start the dosage...so now I am a bit confused....
I have to take my first dose on day 5 of my cycle - is day 5 the fifth day on starting AF or once it is completed?
I am thinking that Day 1 of my cycle is the day I start AF.... so day 5 will be 4 days later?

@Pokkeltjie - Don't worry about the dosage of clomid and twins just yet. I was on 100mg Fertomid when I got pregnant and there was only one embrio. I went for a scan before ovulation and there was also only 1 follicle, so it depends on person to person, how the medication will work. I have no worries about twins, especially because 100mg Fertomid led to a single pregnancy for us.

@Annabelle - What type of CM do you have? I also had increased CM before I got my BFP in April; so much so that I had to use panty liners. Mine also had a yellowy creamy tint to it. Holding thumbs that this is your month!

@Nikita - It's good to take it day-by-day. It's no use that we worry about tomorrow, if we can live in the present. Worrying about tomorrow won't take away the problem or issue we are worrying about. Just try and be strong, look forward and take it day-by-day. I think you have a good philosophy there. Good luck!

So I went to the gynae yesterday and as expected I have anovulation - just like my first time round TTC
She has put me on Fertomid

Fell pregnant on Chlomid the first time round just after 2 months....so hoping we'll be lucky this time round too
Just a bit nervous about the possibility of twins (freaks me out a bit

Glad that you are taking it day by day, its definitely alot more stress free, right?
I have been having lower back pain but this could just be AF on her way as well has lots of CM, the CM is what is confusing me though, i will wait until the 30th to test if AF has not arrived yet.
