@Liza - I am doing okay, I am sick at the moment and in bed freezing. When does AF normally arrive? I have 3 more days lof waiting.

@Anzel - how are you? I have no advice for you as I waited almost 2 months for my period, but I know that my HCG was 5 the morning before the did the evacuation. So it should retun to 0 after the surgery. I might be wrong

AFM - CD24 just feeling sick and sore boobies, normal before AF.

@Liza - I am glad the book has been useful to you. It also helped me a lot to find peace and purpose in our TTC journey. It's good that you are taking it so relaxed now a days - I wish I could just relax more. It's OPKs, tracking CM, BD'ing every other day. It is driving my husband insane. He told me this morning that I should just relax and go with the flow. Easier said than done.

@Fairychild - Agreed - Buying meds online is just too risky. I got my Fertomid with a prescription from my Gynae. It is just safer that way.

AFM, I am on CD11 today and started testing with OPK's this morning. I have a question, though. I read somewhere that your HCG returns to negative levels as soon as your bleeding/spotting stopped after a miscarriage/D&C. My bleeding stopped two days after the D&C, and my spotting stopped last week Wednesday. I therefore assumed that y HCG is negative again. Now this morning, I was expecting a solid negative OPK, which, too my surprise, was not the case. The OPK is not positive yet, but there is already a line, telling me that my body is gearing up for ovulation. It's not a faint line, either, but it's not as dark as the control line. See picture:



Now I'm wondering why it looks like this, when I expected a flat out negative without a second line? It either means that I'm ovulating earlier than I thought, seeing that I only finished the Fertomid dose on Friday, or it means that it is a fake surge due to the recent miscarriage and D&C? Your thoughts on this, please?

I will continue to test using OPK's this week to see if it gets darker/lighter. I was just wondering if anyone had similar experiences? I would in a normal cycle regard this as evidence that I am going to ovulate in the next three to four days, but because of the miscarriage and deurmekaar hormones, I am just not sure.

@Anzel thanks again for the book. I started reading this weekend and feel much more at peace with our TTC journey.

I must say that this year we haven't put a lot of effort into the TTC. No timing, ovulation kits or dreadful ttw.

I have the FF app on my phone so i know more or less when the big O would hit. I'm definitely not that anxious about the whole process. But sometimes it still gets to me when i walk past babies of pregnant mommies ...

According to FF i'm CD26 today and expecting AF to hit by Thursday. I only noticed one difference this month in my cycle. Usually i would have started spotting already but nothing as yet. I get these waves of nausea once in a while. It can also just be my body gearing up for AF.

I think after waiting and hoping every cycle for AF to stay away it just sometimes feel there is no use. At this stage i'm just waiting for AF to arrive.

Was just reading through your thread to see how everyone is keeping when I saw the online medication discussion.

I would like to urge you not to buy any prescription medication online. Registered medication is strictly regulated in South Africa to make sure the meds come from reputable factories and selling meds online is completely illegal. These meds are often counterfeit without any active ingredients and illegally important from unregulated markets in Asia, South America etc. and safety + quality cannot be guaranteed. It may contain harmful ingredients and even be fatal.
Getting a script at the doctor can be a schlep but please stay safe during your Ttc journey.

@Senior - It's a pleasure. Hope the book helps you a lot. When it comes to where to buy Fertomid online, I was under the impression that it can only be bought with prescription from a doctor? I'm not sure where you can buy it online, though. Did you try googling it? Just be careful with the dosage - If you use it unmonitored for an unlimited period of time, you can cause more damage than good.

AFM, CD 9 today and already started to have EWCM - This is very quick after the micarriage and D&C, if you take into account that I used the day of micarriage and D&C as CD 1. Well, we are going at it as normally, we already BD'd on CD6, CD 8, and will continue every second day for the next week or two. Just to cover all our basis. I also finished my last dose of Fertomid last night, so I am holding thumbs for a positive OPK this week.

Anyway, a question. I noticed a few days ago that my tailbone is tender and feel bruised. There is no pain or fever, so I know it is not due to an infection, and it is also not black or blue in colour. When I sit down on a hard chair or when I turn on my back while sleeping at night, the tenderness is noticeable and sometimes wake me up. Anybody perhaps experienced the same? My theory is that maybe during the D&C they placed something below my butt to lift it up a bit for the doctor who is doing the D&C? I know they placed my legs in stirrups, so I'm not sure if this is the reason for the tenderness. Anyway, I'm positive and looking forward to a speedy BFP.

Can someone please advise where I can get Fertomid over the counter. I do not have a gynae at the moment as I had a bad experience with mine at Netcare Sunwardpark, so am looking for a good gynae around the East Rand.
Does anyone perhaps know where I can get Fertomid online, I already bought Fertivor and Inofolic from Springbok Pharmacy, but they don't have Fertomid.

Im not trying to get my hopes up either cos it can go either way and we've only just started ttc so i am hopeful but yet realistic. the CM is definitely something different that i am experiencing but yet it could be due to AF arriving on her broomstick!
