@cands how's the meds going? When do you do your procedure?

@Nicola looks like we in the TWW together. Only I haven't been testing at all so not really expecting much.

I haven't been testing or temping this month. With being at the hospital everyday to hubby working mad hours there just wasnttime or the need but we made the most of being ttc stress free by just trying to enjoy it but life stress is right there. I had the strangest dream this morning. Dreamt I had a BFP on a clicks test and then did a CB and got a positive as well. I hope it's about things to come

Best of luck for the 2WW! Holding lots of thumbs! I have been through that a few times and it sucks, cant even give good suggestions as to how to keep yourself busy. But the rate at which this year is flying, two weeks will be gone soon!

So did another opk and it's a bit lighter than yesterday so taking yesterday's one as the positive. Will test again tomorrow morning just to be sure but I guess I'm in the dreaded 2WW so here's hoping for some good news!!!

Yeah re: exercise, i have to keep my mind occupied I guess. haven't focused on my eating or exercise the last two years, been so consumed by ttc that i'm taking a different approach now to keep my body and mind healthy but want to do so in the best way that won't be too hectic on the ovaries etc! i love spinning so will continue that...I hope the running will be ok.

Morning ladies!

Went for my first scan since starting my stimulation meds. Been on 75IU Gonal F and 75IU pergoveris for the past 5 days. Dr is verrrry happy with how my body is responding. I have about 6 nice looking follicles on my right ovary and about 4-5 on my left. My lining is almost 6mm, I have been put on 300IU Menopur till Thursday. Wednesday and Thursday I start my cetrotide injections. Things are going so well! i am looovvving this process. It is tough - I have hot flushes a lot, pee a lot cause of all the water, feeling bloated and my ovaries and womb are uncomfy but I wouldn't want anything else. I also have a headache quite often.

I just know our baby is going to be showing him/herself soon!!!

@NicolaF - my FS says that exercise is fine, as long as it isn't too bouncy. haha. But its different for me cause I am on fertility meds so my ovaries get a lot bigger. i am an avid runner so i have to put that away for a bit. but i do light spinning and walking. going to do treadmill walking at gym tonight and upper body. but to be honest exercise can happen any time in my life. right now it is focus time on baby!

@Cands how are you feeling? Gosh 3litres is so much!! I can barely drink 1litre a day, i find it so hard! I only really drink more than that if I go to gym in the morning then i'll drink about 1.5l. Really need to try harder!! hope you're feeling ok xxx

AFM...CD14. Did opk yesterday and today and today definitely darker, almost same as the control line so will test again tomorrow to see, or maybe even this eve. I just bought the cheap ones from Clicks this time. We bd saturday and sunday so will bd daily until wednesday I reckon! Trying our absolute hardest this month maybe we won't have to go for IUI after all! fingers crossed! Not much other news, hubs and I are on a proper exercise schedule he;'s busy training for the Argus cycle race and i've entered the CapeTown12 run in May so hopefully start shedding a few kg's! Feeling in such a good headspace at the moment too so hopefully that helps us!

@Cands...what did your FS advise with regards to exercise with IUI and IVF? Do you still spin? I did spin last night and i was wondering if its too vigorous during ovulation?

@Cands, shuuu girl I remember that feeling. It felt so crammed it my ovaries but it was worth it. I was with Dr. Yossi but everyone there is fantastic so know that you are in good hands.

@Nicola, I have been praying for you and I believe this is your time. Anything is possible ( someone from this group got preggos first time around via IUI)

AFM: haven't really been tracking since last November and considering that hubby is between here and cape town BD is periodic and don't really know when I am ovulating. Still enjoying not stressing about TTCing as work is also hectic and I've decided to study further so ja...
