Hi Ladies,

I am new to this forum.

Been TTC for the last 5 months, hoping the next cycle will be the one.

I need to ask for some advice. It is SO difficult not to think about TTC all the time, tracking every little symptom felt and overthinking everything. But I'm sure that puts a lot of pressure and unnecessary stress on the body. What do you ladies do to take it all off your mind and not be constantly thinking about it?

Looking forward to getting to know everyone here :)

Hi ladies,

Hope everyone i well.

@MamaK - And?? Any news yet? With my first, I only got a faint BFP on CD36....

@Nicola - Oh hun, one step at a time. Good luck with you appointment and please keep us updated.

@Liza - And?? What's happening?

AFM - Well ladies, seems like we have to put our TTC on hold for now. Things are not looking up at hubby's work and he has started to look for another job, so he said we must wait a while. I'm heartbroken friends. I dont know how long this wait is gonna be and then how long are we gonna struggle again to fall pregnant. So ya, have to just process all of that and accept it for what it is. :(

@MamaK oh I am praying you get a BFP soon!!!! the waiting is just too much...I hope AF doesn't show and you get a nice bright double line this weekend!! keep us posted ok xxx

Feeling better today. Have just spoken with the sister at my clinic and i'm going for my AMH test tomorrow morning. Praying I have lots of eggies still!! Hubby and I even discussed last night what if my egg level is low - do we spend years just ttc or do we take the next step like Adoption. But I won't worry about it now, my anxiety levels are as high as it is lol! Right now I need to get my fat ass into gym and stop being so lazy hahah!!

Sending love to you all! wish we were all in one place we could meet for a glass of wine hahah!
xxx

One more thing ......

My FS suggested a new treatment called PRP (platelet rich plasma) which is receiving major success in USA and Europe. In a nutshell - it's a procedure whereby your own blood is injected into your ovaries to rejuvenate them. My FS explained that many women fell pregnant naturally and carried full term. I am seeing him on 23/2 to discuss further. I hope I dont have to sell my house to pay for this treatment :-). But will keep you ladies posted on what he says and whether I agree to do it or not.

I am turning 41 this year so the anxiety and fear of not having a child really takes over my life. its so hard to stay positive.

Nicola - so sorry hun. I know how you feel. been feeling the same since AF arrived. hang in there dear this is a tough journey but we will all get through this.

I've been on 4 IUIs - the 3rd one was successful but ended in a miscarriage. An AMH test will determine your egg quality and egg reserve left. MY FS tested AMH, FSH and LH before starting IUI. Then you have to inject the hormones and take the meds on the day that he instructs you. You get a trigger shot to 'force' ovulation and the procedure is done 36-48 hours after the trigger.

My AMH level is very very low :-( which my FS is very concerned about. So I was 3 months on DHEA, Pregnacare, CoQ10 and was asked to follow a low carb diet. Re-tested after 3 months and my AMH came back at 0.29 which was lower than the previous result (0.6). I really dont know what else I am expected to do now

Hope this info helps
