AFM - CD25 & 10DPO today and im symptom spotting like mad arghhhh!! its so flippin hard not to! Had some hectic cramps on Tuesday which felt like AF was about to arrive but it was far too early, yesterday i was convinced my nipples looked darker hubby thinks im being ridiculous haha! And im peeing like mad today despite not yet drinking much water just a coffee this morning so far! AF only due next week Wed/Thurs if my cycle stays the same length 30 days, i'm going mad in this 2ww its taking FOREVER!!!!!! praying hard!

Hope you all have a great weekend! Going to a music festival tomorrow called K Day with my cousin and her friends...should be a fun girly day looking forward to getting out the house

Hi ladies, im back and ready to pounce back on the TTC wagon! Feel like im starting all over again even though my TTC journey began over a year ago.
Im CD 3 today and my cycle length has gone from 28 to 30 days. Started taking Pregnacare Conception so praying this will help make March our month!

I have a lot of catching up to do with all the new ladies and posts on the thread.

Hi ladies!

So I went for egg retrieval retrieval yesterday. Only thing that I hated was the anaesthetic. Otherwise it went great.

We got 15 eggs! So so proud of us!

Today, vitalab phoned and said 10 of those fertilised. So we have made 10 lives ?

Now we pray that they will make it to day 5. At that stage they are a blastocyst and can then be either transferred or frozen. We are doing frozen.

So please pray for us that our little lives all make it to day 5!!

Hi ladies,

Scan went well yesterday. I triggered with Lucrin at 9 last night and 9 today. My Dr is scared that I may have over stimulated so thats why I am not using Ovidrel. Basically my ovaries did a lot better than he expected.

Tomorrow is egg retrieval which is very exciting! Cant wait to see how well I did.

Going to do a frozen transfer, not a fresh transfer. Dr wants my ovaries to chill so that the eggies have the best chance of implanting. So we will probably do this end March/April.

@Ayesha shame i'm sorry to hear, sending prayers for speedy recovery. I know what you mean about tunnel vision re: ttc its crazy how we just forget about everything else hey! xxx

AFM...7DPO (CD22) and i've had some quite bad af type pains since yesterday afternoon. It is slightly higher than standard pulling down AF pains but definitely down in that region around my ovaries. And today my back is really sore. Don't want to sypmtom spot but we all know how hard it is not to haha!! AF is only due in about 8 or 9 days so I guess time will tell!

Any news from anyone?

@Nicola....I have like 10 minutes a day where I freak out and then it all falls away. My grandad is as well as can be. His doctor has said they have done everything they can and that's there's nothing left to do. My uncle is getting a second opinion so we waiting on that. But the past week has been an emotional roller coaster coz for a couple of days he was touch and go. My mind is focused on that so much that ttc has really taken the back burner and in some ways I'm a little relieved. I realized how focused I have been on ttc that I genuinely had tunnel vision.

How's all the ladies doing? Any good news?

Sorry If i missed anyone!

AFM...CD21 and 6DPO. Feeling a bit annoyed with myself, we had quite a few drinks on Saturday night but I have been trying hard to just not drink the next month & half until my IUI is done and we know the outcome. Anyway i'm sure its fine, just hope I haven't ruined our chances this month. Does anyone know if a lot of alcohol just before implantation can hinder it? No symptoms yet at all, trying to be positive but its quite hard when you know youre usually met with disappointment of AF but I am in a good space at the moment so feeling good! if nothing this month then at least we have the IUI to look forward to! and then I go home to Durban to my family for a week in mid april I can't wait!
