Time to begin TTC 2018!

Morning all!

So happy it is Friday, even though this weekend is going to be a bit busy. But its fine! Slightly inconvenient timing since I am doing all these injections and they make me bloated. But its ok!

Did day 3 today, hubby and I agreed that he would do all the mixing and I am happy to inject myself. I am just not awake enough that time of the morning to get liquid out a vial. so I am glad he is there!

I have to up my intake of water to 3L. I thought this was silly, but from this morning I woke up THIRSTY! This after having 3 L yesterday. The thirst has not gone away either. Its like thirsty, drink, pee , repeat for me today. Feeling a bit crampy and ovaries are a bit twingy but I feel that should be normal.

Taking this process one injection at a time. Thats all I can do. And pray. I am still holding onto my gut feeling that this is our turn. Baby Botha should be here this year or early next year! It will happen!

How is everyone else doing?

@NicolaF I am glad that you feel better after calling the Dr. I am sure IUI will work for you! Holding thumbs!

Hi Ladies

Happy Friday! How is everyone doing?

AFM...CD10 today, will prob start doing opk from sunday. Got a call from my FS yesterday morning, he apologised for not calling me about my results but he basically explained that yes my levels are below average but because my age is in my favour IUI should have a positive result. However if we ever had to go for IVF we probably wouldn't get a good enough response. But he said with all the tests we've had done and looking at both hubby and I we shouldn't ever have to go for IVF we should fall pregnant either naturally or with IUI. So I feel a bit better, obviously not the best outcome but its the best we can hope for right now I guess. Now just praying that the IUI will work....I see so many women going for IUI numerous times, I pray we don't. In fact I hope we have twins because then that's us done TTC for ever!!! Don't think I would want to go through this again.

Anyway ladies I hope you're all having a great morning and have a lovely weekend planned! We have a braai with friends this evening then chilling rest of it! oh and we are going to do a sunrise hike up Lions head sunday morning to get the blood flowing so that should be fun!

Gosh it is a lot to process and I don't blame you for freaking out a little and feeling a bit grumps but we are here for you to offload when you need to!! Morning all,

Went to start my IVF yesterday. Walked out with half the pharmacy. I am taking Gonal F and Pergoveris together. Taken two injections so far.
Doing this till Sunday then Monday I go and have a scan to check how follicles are doing. Then they decide the next step.

leaving it in their hands. They know what is right. I am a bit grumpy today, battled a bit with mixing things and a little bit squirted out so i am hoping it wasn't a lot. Had a bit of a freak out so I think that has offset my mood completely. Praying things work out. I guess some days are downers right?

Husband and I also started a course of antibiotics and anti fungals. didn't know we had to do this but it does make sense, they said it is so as to not introduce bugs into the lab. So yeah, two injections, one antibiotic, one antifungal, Ubiquinol, and antidepressant and now folic acid. It is quite a lot to process.

But it will be ok.

Gutted ladies. Turns out my AMH level of 0.79 is actually LOW??? So bummed. Wish my FS would just call me instead of sending me an sms in Afrikaans which I misunderstood even after calling the Sister. We are going for IUI next month but now I just feel deflated and worried

Hi ladies,

Tomorrow my IVF journey begins. Going for my baseline scan tomorrow and starting injections of Gonal F and Pergoveris. I am so beyond excited! I feel this is going to happen for us this year. I just know I will be preggie soon. Have to keep positive!

@babymaybe Best of luck hun! Femara worked verry well for me so I know it will for you.

@Ayesha just focus on family. TTC is really stressful so don't add stress to your life for now
