Hi nicola,

Yes I have done one. So you get put onto stims to grow your follicles. Then when there is a dominant follicle, the FS will then trigger it. The within 36 hours you go with your husband, on the morning he will give a sperm sample, they will wash it to get the best spermies, and then the FS will insert a speculum into your vagina, open up your cervix and insert the sperm right into your womb.

The speculum is a bit uncomfy, but it is more pressure than uncomfy.

Usually they only do IUI if hubby has problems with his spermies. After that, the FS will give you progesterone. 2 weeks later you do a test.

Morning ladies

I'm out...AF just arrived So much for the good feeling I had but oh well. Going to contact my FS and schedule our IUI asap. I don't see any point in waiting any longer. I'm just so worried its not going to work but I guess we can only try.

Anyone know what the process is with IUI? Any advice/info welcome before I get to meet with my FS

Morning ladies,

I have been taking Ubiquinol twice a day and folic acid + B12 tablet under my tongue in the morning. Has anyone had success with these? Do they really help?

I am a healthy eater about 95% of the time because life is meant to be enjoyed.. So eat the cake in moderation haha. I have stopped drinking, decided enough is enough the past weekend as my tolerance is way too low. So I feel I have done what I need to do to prepare.

Any advice?

Nicola - I have a strong feeling this is your month! Its nerve wrecking closer towards AF.. every twinge and twitch gets you paranoid about whether AF is arriving.

Babydreaming - I currently take CoQ10 and Pregnacare daily. Will ask my FS about Vitex.

@Nicola - glad you had a great weekend. Really hope this is your cycle. I've downloaded Fertility Friend, will see how it works. I hear what you say hun, it's hard to get excited for someone when you see a BFN. Does your friend know you are TTC?

@Ayesha - CD16 actually looks dark too.... did you BD on both CD14 and 16?

@mesh - Oh no hun, so sorry AF arrived. Best of luck with your IVF. Please keep us posted. Have you maybe thought of trying Vitex until you go for the IVF?

@MamaK - test again in a day or two sweety, might still be too soon. When I fell pregnant with my first I only got a very faint BFP on CD36... fingers crossed.

@Liza - What's happening your side?

AFM - Nothing on my side really. CD24 for me, hoping AF arrives in the next 5 days or so, so that we can start again. Still taking Vitex everyday.
