Morning ladies

@Mesh i'm sorry hun :( I hope you get a blessing before your IVF starts xxx
@Firsttimemommy welcome to our group! I also have unexplained infertility, although I did have endo which was finally removed in August but we have been ttc since March 2016 and have never fallen pregnant despite everything with hubby and I being perfect on paper. So we are praying we get our rainbow baby soon!! Been the hardest two years ever but I can feel in my heart it won't be much longer. I hope your IVF goes well and you are blessed soon xxx
@Ayesha lol yes sorry ya Sweet potato not great in curry!! ooh i love a good curry, I just cant make it properly haha! Actually you've sent us a recipe before havne't you? I need to try it next time its cooler weather! how are you doing hun? xx
@MamaK, @BabyDreaming, @Liza - Any news ladies?? Thinking of you all xxx

AFM...CD30! No sign of AF. I've had some creamy/sticky CM last couple days but I seem to always get that now these days before AF arrives. Had a bit of nausea on Friday/Saturday briefly but trying not to symptom spot! Not really feeling anything, boobs were a bit sensitive on Friday but not any more. Guess we will see. My app says to test on Friday 9th which will be CD34 so will wait for the weekend! I have a babyshower on Saturday so am praying AF doesn't arrive friday/saturday :( nothing worse than that disappointment but then trying to be excited about a new baby. Sounds awful but you ladies know what I mean. SO excited for my friend but sad for me. Our camping weekend was amazing though, feeling refreshed and recharged! Spent a lot of time with my bestie's little girl Summer she is SO cute and I hope I am blessed with a little girl one day! I'll send a pic she's too cute!!!

Anyway ladies I have a good feeling for all of us this year! Lots of prayers and lots of babydust

xxxxxx

HI ladies!

I am 27 and my hubby is 31. We have been trying to conceive now for almost a year. We started out with doing all the tests. Hubby has ridiculously good sperm and I have unexplained infertility. Dr says that it could be a hormone imbalance. I don't have PCOS or endo or any signs.
We started with ovulation induction with Gonal F. Did this twice and each time i got cysts. I tried IUI once and that didn't work.

We then moved to Vitalab with Dr Volschenk and he is incredible. I tried a round of Menopur and my follies didn't respond but we think it was stress. I had already been through so much. I have now taken 3 months off and had genetic chromosome testing done. This is to test if i am susceptible to miscarriages. And the results are excellent - we are on the way to IVF starting 14 February which is a great sign.

Any ladies have IVF advice? Anyone have unexplained infertility? I feel this is our time now. I talk about baby like he/she is here already and I feel in my heart that they are on the way.

Hope you all have a great day!

@Nicola i been testing everyday so I'm hoping I didn't miss it but if I did then next month. The water restriction is bad that side good luck. I miss cape town so much. Fx for you this cycle... I tried sweet potato but can't exactly cook it with some Indian foods. It took me forever to get hubby to consider veggies now he's getting there slowly. I'm stuck on cabbage now lol

Hi ladies

arrrghhhh is it the weekend yet????!!!

@ayesha shame friend your cycle is so blady confusing. Did you do another OPK? have you tried sweet potato instead of normal potato?! We hardly ever have normal potatoes now unless I make a potato salad for a braai! Gosh I wish my hubby was like that with veggies...he's such a fuss pot! xxx
@MamaK...any sign of AF? Ooh I hope this is a bfp for you! Fingers crossed!! Shame I can imagine how hard to leave the little ones at school! Well done on your 5km runs! I am entering the Cape Town 12 this year so I need to get cracking on my training!! xxx
@Liza think i'll just wait it out, my cycles have been a bit all over the place so will just enjoy myself this weekend and possibly test next weekend if no AF! I really hope you get some good news soon, you really deserve it xxxx
@Babydreaming I use Fertility Friend! It is nice to be able to log your notes every day and also keep track of ovulation and AF days etc! its free to download so go for it! the only way I can remember my cycle lengths etc haha!!! I'll detail last 8 or so months for you.

March 27 Days
April 27 Days
May 26 Days
June 28 Days (Fertomid)
July 29 days (Fertomid)
August 29 Days
September 29 Days (Fertomid)
October 32 Days (Fertomid)
November 32 Days (Fertomid)
December 28 days
January 34 days (Fertomid)
February?

last AF I actually think I may have had a very early miscarriage - the pain was absolutely excruciating and I had a lot of clots and skin stuff that came out and AF was about 5 days as opposed to my usual 2 days. Anyway I guess we will see what happens this month! Fingers crossed!!!

Hope you all have a great day ladies!! Our Level 6b Water restrictions come into effect today, we have to use 50litres or less per person per day, its so hectic :( Praying for rain!!

Lots of love to you all xxx

@Nicola fx for you hope this month is your month

@Lisa how are you hun?

@babydreaming any news hun

I'm on cd13 and started opks on Monday. My period was 8 days long and my first opk was alot darker then yesterday's opk. I'm hoping didn't ovulate earl y this month coz dh worked late Monday and if that was my positive then we missed it completely

I see alot of ladies talking about the change in there diet, how it going? I'm trying so hard to cut out carbs and funny as it is I can manage with out rice and pasta and even bread, but not potato it's a curse lol. I have changed mine and hubbys diet completely nd I'm surprised how well he is taking to it. Just last night in food lovers market he ws taking veggies and saying maybe we should try this

Good Morning Ladies,

I trust all is well with everyone.

@Nicola a weekend away is always a good distraction, you guys should have fun. I am loving the positive vibes you have about this cycle, fingers crossed for you.

@Babydreaming I am glad to here you are doing well, hope those pains disappear soon.

@Mesh I've also tried to stay off starch since the beginning of the year and I am still going strong, with a cheat day here and there. I've also being doing 5km runs every other day.

@Liza hold on to that dream girl, TTC is a very emotionally taxing journey. All the best for you this cycle.

AFM my little girl (21 months) started play school on Monday, I was an emotional wrack, thank God for WhatsApp her teacher kept sending me pics the whole day which made it a bit better to get through the day *sigh*. Letting go is not so easy. She is off nappies and no longer takes the bottle too, so conceiving now would be perfect because we won't be buying nappies and milk for 2 kids, those things are expensive, lol. I'm on CD28 today, besides the symptoms I mentioned earlier I haven't really notice anything else besides not being able to stand the smell of coffee, it makes me want to throw up. I am going to drag out the testing as far as possible because I stopped taking the pill in Dec so that may have very well affected my cycle. So I will wait it out. The last time I waited until I was 10 days late for AF before testing, so I'll do the same this time around.
