Meags - I would approach DH when you are calmer. Doing things together is not an easy concept for men to grasp. Try relate it to him in the reverse ........."would you be happy if I went out with buds on my own til 2am and found my way home on my own in a taxi?" Good luck and I hope it goes well! This is what marriage is about ... continuously adapting and compromise. Just remember to pick your battles! If this is the only time DH has done this since getting married maybe go a bit easier on him, he may just have had something on his mind that night or needing to vent a bit of stress. It may be an isolated thing! Take care Hun!

well, I woke him at 13:45 but I dont feel like talking to him. I did try a bit but I have nothing left in me to argue...I feel like I'm talking to a brick wall.
